HEY DO_GOODERS. My mom's first husband was a physically abusive alcoholic who seriously mistreated my mother and my half sister.
My father was an emotionally and verbally abusive alcoholic before he became a Christian.
I can't save all of the battered women in the world, but that is not the point of the joke.
I know many women who despise the decent more peaceful gentle man, and they go after athletes, bad boys, etc. etc. etc. Is that my fault.
I am tall, muscular, intelligent and athletic, but I never abuse women.
The point of the joke is not abuse of women, but the double take that you get before you read the punchline.
