My fiancé and I met thru an online personals site; we've been togther for a year and a half, and are getting married in two months. I think, Internet is a great place to meet others; more and more people are looking for partners online.

Well, I'm going to switch it to "meeting your wife". It's best that you find your life partner in places that you feel comfortable with and doing things you like, because this way, your partner will probably be doing the same thing... and you'll have something in common. Don't worry so much about the place as you should worry more about the actual person you may find.

I'm the husband. We met at work. I was attracted to her and luckily she found me attractive as well. I had my friends invite her out after work or to various sports events that I was involved with (I am a securities analyst but athletic and she works with computers . . . or did, she now stays home w/the kids).

I met my first husband online--that didnt work out so well. Anyway, my now fiance was a friend of my sister, she introduced us and the rest is history.

i met my husband through a friend of his. after only looking at me for a few minutes, his friend approached me out of nowhere and literally just said, "i think you would be perfect for this friend of mine" and dog gonnit would you believe he was absolutely right!!!!!!! isn't that kind of amazing? we've been together for 12 years now!
