well when you get divorced, where will the kids hang out?

Staying together is already an acceptance by everyone that they know that they are a couple. Marriage is only piece of paper to legalise 2 parties as husband & wife. Getting married is so simple, just S$25/- you can get the marriage certificate, but when a couple cannot get along after marriage and wanted a divorce, it will cause them a bomb.
But with the kid around is different, the child needs to have legal parents, that is where legalization comes in.

Yup...you have a point there. The older I get..the more I see that marriage isn't for everyone. Mostly, it's women who want to be married because a lot of them don't have their own financial security.
