Friends - October 2007

My friends all all out getting high and drunk what should i do?

They all go out and smoke weed and get pissed and we are all only 14-15!

They always ask me if i want to go, but i say no, if i tell them why hey say don't be gay.

My more closer friends go, and say they do not like the smoking, but they get drunk, but i don't really want to be arround it. Especially since they all tried it while they where drunk, which i do not want to happen to me.

I will still go out with the ones that i am atuarly friends with, but only if there will be no weed there (which only happens in public places).

The fact that they all do this makes me not want to even hang arround with some of them at all,

Am i doing the right thing?

PLEASE CAN YOU leave your age with your answer so that i know if it is someone who had the same problem or an adul giving advice or whatever.

on friday i had broken up my relation with my friend(male) and since then we dont talk or even send mesgs. even though when i connect after 10 mins he is online,,, we dont chat he is just online,,,i do not know why he is doing that,,,?

I have a big group of just friends. It's fun to have them around, but other times I just like being with maybe two or three of them. Sometimes when I get together with only a few of them, the others find out and get sad or jealous. We're friends, but we can't always be together. :-/

Sometimes I wish there weren't so many of us.

What do you prefer...a few BFFS or a big group of friends?

The first one was at a fair, I never seen her. I was bumping into her family members and asking have you seen her? I never found her.
The second was I went to her freinds house to see her and something was wrong. Her friend told me she didn't want to be with me anymore. My girlfriend told me she wanted to try to be with a man instead.
The third one was at a amusement park. We was looking at a ride then walked off to go on others. She didn't want to, so she started to tell me she's fed up with me. I kept asking her why? She just kept saying she can't stand how Iam and she only been holding on. Woke up in tears.

Hiya,
I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm not sure what to do.

One of my primary school teachers died last week, she was only 38. She was an amazing teacher, and did a lot to help me. I was really upset so I wrote down all the things I wished I could have told her before she died in a letter.

I was going to send this letter to her mum to show how much her daughter meant to me, and what a lovely person she was, but now I don't know whether to or not.

Do you think I should?

I love massages. Probably more than the average person esp. b/c I got into a car accident a few years ago and I am always at the computer, so I have a lot of pressure points that need work.
I have a male friend who offered to massage me. Initially, I declined b/c I know he likes me, but with the cost of massage therapy being so high, I am very tempted to take him on his offer.
How do I go about getting the massage but clearly explaining to him that that is all I want? We had met through an online dating service about five months ago and had gone out a few times, but I am not attracted to him and he should realize that by now, I am not interested in him other than being a friend (he tried to kiss me once, but I didn't respond. Still, we continue to talk).

Should I go ahead and take him on his offer? Mind you, an hour massage is around $65. Someone told me that I would probably need at least two per month.

he was in a motorcycle accident. he was only 27yrs old. he is actually my ex boyfriend and like one of the family. he was very very close to my 3 boys, ages 6,5,and 3. we stayed like best friends even after our sexual relationship was over. now he is dead and I can't stop thinking about him. and I am so mad at him b/c he wasn't wearing his helmet and was drinking.

If its not for another friend, its for her boyfriend. I know hes more important right now, but she always cancels our plans and its starting to get rediculous. Im not going to go into mass detail but it always ends up being me, left out again. I know that she isnt trying to but it feels like she is. Our school soccer team got to state, and she didnt want to go. I decided id stay with her instead of go. Then the day before the game she called me at 10;30 saying she had other plans. I know that im quiet and shy to people I dont know, which is part of it, but no one ever tries to talk to me or start a conversation. Even when Im with my friends at a football game or something (Im in high school), I can walk away for 15 mins with out anyone noticing. Its not like Im hideous either, so why am i so invisible?

Okay, well I've always had this problem where most of my friends thing I'm dumb. It's really annoying because if they say something its funny or okay or just oh we all have those moments kind of thing. But when I say something people are like wow, your dumb... or your stupid like seriously your retarded. My best friend will do that to me and it's embarressing when she does it infront of people for just a minor example: the other day in class this boy thats actually kind of cute was saying something and he was lipping it and i was just liek whaat? I really didnt know what he was saying anyone wouldn't he wasnt making sense and my bestfriend was watching obviously knew what he was saying and was like omg! shes SO retarded, like seriously! and not only is she my best friend doing this to me its embarressing cause I make better grades then everyone who laughed at it when she said it. and i dont want to fight with them over somehting like that its just I can only take it for so long.

This friend is of the opposite sex (not and x just old friend) and spoke badly of my wife in front of me and my family memebers.... what would you do in that situation? I was supposed to go to a Halloween party today with a few friends. I called my friend an hour before the party to see when she was picking me up; She didn't answer the phone and I couldn't leave a message because my dad was waiting for my mom to call. So, I called again a half hour later and still she didn't answer. Then I called at seven, thirty minutes before the party started. But she didn't answer, again. She enver came by to pick me up either. I would have asked my dad to drop me off but he had left to pick my mom up from the airport. She could have forgotten but we had talked about it a few times yesterday and she's never forgotten before. I feel like maybe she didn't want me to go, but I was invited and she even said, before I could ask, that she would give me a ride.

I don't know whether to be mad or just forget that it happened? Am I over reacting about this whole thing?

My friend got kind of mad at me (I don't see why he's mad though; he's really overreacting about nothing) and he told me that he wasn't even going to read my e-mails, he was just going to delete them. At first I thought he was joking because he got mad over nothing that was worth being mad about, but he really isn't replying to my e-mails. I don't have any other ways to talk to him, and I like him a lot, and I really want to talk to him again. I can't say sorry for something that I don't feel sorry for, and even if I did, he would just delete the e-mail before reading it. I don't know what to do. Help, please!!!

my best friends grampa passed away yesterday and she's really down and i dont wana ask "how are you?" cuz thats kind of a stupid question, what is she supposed to say to that? usually when we talk, we're laughing are asses off, cracking up at every little thing. i am talking to her right now, but minus the laughs...i'm the only one laughing. which is kind of wierd. idk what to say . i really wish i could cheer her up. help?

It all started at the beginning of the year. A girl in my homeroom started talking to me before class, and I was friendly to her of course. She seemed pretty harmless, so I continued to be nice. I figured out soon that her locker was right by mine and we had a few classes together. After a couple of weeks she turned into an annoyance. She would grab me and pull me to the side to just "talk" when it was time to go to class, interrupt my reading or working to bombard me with questions, and follow me around as much as she could. My friend told this girl politely to leave me alone, but two weeks afterwards she came right back doing the same things. She asked me about my friend telling her to leave me alone, and I said that I wasn't sure what my friend had meant when talking to her. I just didn't want to hurt her feelings, because I don't think she gets to see her friends (if any) between or during classes. However, I know she had several since she has mentioned them ocassionally.

Is it normal to not really have any freinds yet? This is my first year in college and I basically only know my roomate and suitmate. I mean, I know and talk to people in class, but outside of class I am usually by myself. Is this normal for a freshman w/ an introvert personality?
