My friend hat I have been talking about in my questions lately is very depressed lately. He found out that he will be having back surgery in a few months and won't be able to be the actine person that he is for a while. he is pretty depressed about that. his back hurts more than it ever has in the past this week. tonight i am going to his bday party and I want to try to cheer him up a little. when i saw him last night i reminded him that i have had a rough week also and he wasn't alone to try to cheer him, up, but i don't think it worked. Any suggestions as to what i can say or do tonight at the party to try to cheer him up, because when i talked to him on the phone this morning, when I asked him how he was, he said that he was the same as last night, depressed and in pain. PLZ HELP!

I have a sortta guyfiriend who used to be like my super trusted fried, who I used to tell everything too. I told him my friend liked him, and he just went to her and hugged her all the time. Then one day with my girlfriend, we were talking bout him, and she said she thought he liked her. Then, I told that to my guy friend, and he was like "noooo way, you and some other people told me she liked me, so I played with her, but I would never like her." He's like that, and I hate that about him. Should I even be friends with him anymore?? How bad do you think what he did to my girlfriend is??ps im a girl

I met up with a mate's sister recently, that I haven't seen for ten years; an intelligent, educated, lass in her early thirties. Anyway, we were by the sea about to have a cigarette, but it was windy so she crouched down below below the wall level, then laughed and joked "It looks like I'm giving you a bl*wjob" then recalled an occasion when she'd given someone head in front of a window.
For some reason it took me back a bit, I can't help thinking a) it sounded pretty slutty, and b) wondering why she thought I'd want to hear it?

Or am I just being an overdramatic old prude?

The guy is a client but he really likes the person who is working with him but she's married and he feels guilty about his feelings for her but he wants to tell her but he knows he shouldn't because she's married and he knows it's wrong to have those feelings. But, still what should he do about those feelings I mean should he tell her he's got a crush on her or should he not tell. But, if he doesn't tell her then how's the best way for him to handle a situation like this where he's with her for 1 or more days and she's the person who picks him up from his house and he's the client? But, at the same time the reason she picks him up from his house is because he has no car and no job yet.

I'm 15yrs old and am sophmore in high school. I am very shy. I mean somedays i would go to school and not say one word. I am afraid that people would make fun of my soft deep voice. I do want to talk and make friends but i just don't have the courage.

Everyone is telling me to just start a conversation with people. But its not easy if you been in a shell for so long and don't know how to start and keep a conversation. Also people not hearinging or understanding what i'm saying doesn't help.

Im 23 female from South Dakota... in a failing relationship... but I'm into music and movies... I even write my own music and sing... but since I recently moved back home to a small town to "save money".... I don't have friends here anymore and the friends that I did have before have just kind of dwindled down to nothing...plus I work from home...so I don't get out much...not that there is really any place to get out to... besides bars.. and thats just not my thing... I thought I would ask if anyone might be interested in having a new online friend to talk to....

I'm a really nice person and have so much to offer to a friend .. but i don't seem to have many.
i don't look weird or anything (well not really lol) and i am caring and always help people but i only have like 4 friends and they arn't friends with each other so i cant hang out with all of them.

ok i'm going to a big public university and i'm having issues meeting people and making friends.. :/ i hang out with my friend from high school a lot, so i meet people from his floor but i don't really like them lol. i've made a few friends, but not like very many.

i don't really know that many people on my floor yet even though i've been here for like a month.. also my roomie doesn't open the door.. and my roomie and suitemates don't invite me to parties with them! i'm going to ask if i can come along but i haven't had the chance yet. i'm not sure if they think it's because i don't party or what.

anyway it's VERY frustrating.. suggestions?? i'm not like anti-social but i guess i need to be more outgoing..

One of my best good guy friends has been avoiding me lately, and he won't talk to me about it.

He's been acting so strange for about 2 weeks now, whenever we would pass in the hall, wed give each other a high five (yes, people still do that), but now, he just keeps on walkin, and he used to wait for me everymorning so we could walk to class together, now, he has new people he walks with, and just leaves me there. He also used to walk me to lunch, and we would eat together, but now, he has his new people that he eats with, and im alone

I confronted him about this yesterday, because im not going to lose a good friend over unknown reasons, So, I tried to talk to him, i was like, what been up with you lately, your pulling away from us, and he just said LEAVE, just get out of my face, and he walked away, so, i followed and tried to get him to talk to me one more time, I didn't want to pester him, so when he told me to leave a second time, so I did

My best friend has a new girlfriend. I never really liked her. I think she is snobby and isn't even nice to him. But I guess he his happy. Well today we were at school and he said something about riding bus number 03, when he really rides bus number 12, so I said no you don't.. You ride 12. Then he was all like. Shhh. Then his girlfriend asked me how I knew what bus he rode. He told me, that's how I knew. He's my best friend, I remember things like tht. The way she said it.. It annoyed me soo much. She thinks she is better then me just cuz she is going out with him. She has changed him a lot! Not better. He is always ditching me and his other friend, just for her and her friends. I dunno what to do. I use to like him, but not any more. So it's not like I'm jealous. I mean it's good.. if he is happy. But I dunno what to do.
Any ideas? To get him to hang out with me and our other friends more?
