Friends - October 2007

I drove 4 hours to visit my best friend for the weekend. During my stay i hurt her feelings with my actions.. She got into a big fight with her roommates to the point where she wants to move out of her apartment.. She had to go to class for about 5 hours and so i was left alone in her room.. Her room mates get home and i decide to go hang out with them.. My friend got furious saying how i took our friendship for granted by hanging out with them when they had just gotten into a really bad fight. she says that i was supposed to be on her side and have no excuse to hang out with them, specially when i dont even know them. i have realized i have made a mistake so i have send her 3 dozen roses. she will be receiving them tomorrow.. but i dont know if thats enough. i was thinking of driving 4 hours again and show up at her aparment with a single rose and give it to her right after she receives the 3 dozen roses and drive right back home...i want her forgiveness, shes my best friend.

I am on a course with this girl I am good friends with, and I wanted to change one of my modules (u take two modules a term each on a different subject) because it was too like another one i am doing and the one i was going to change it to sounded so much better. i told my friend i was changing and she was like aw no dont leave me. then the next day she said she wanted to change too. apprently she emailed the person who changes it a few hours before me, got the last place and now i cant change at all and i really really wanted to.
we were both in the persons office when we found out there was one place and i was literally pleading for a place for me too, and he said no. if i was the other way round and i had the place and my friend had said she wanted to change before i did i would have let her have it. im pretty mad at her.
do i have any right to be mad?

Hi,

I am 23 (Female) and I live with my boyfriend who is 22. I have known him for five years and we are very happy together. I am a nurse and he owns and operates sveral businesses with his father inclduign gyms nightclubs and restaurants. We have very large and close families and always gave lots of people around us.

He works very hard and has a very hectic life style, he is always been called away in the middle of the night to sort something.

Recently I have noticed some changes in him. He gets very upset for no apparant reason, he tells me that he thinks he's ugly..and that he doesnt deserve me. I have also found anti-depressnats amongst his things.

He is also losing weight and not eating as much. He refuses to talk about it and it just causes a row when I bright it up. His father is retiring next year so he will be soly in charge of all the companies...so lots more work for him
