Friends - October 2007

so i have, (or maybe had now) this guy friend that i used to talk to alot. He finds himself needing to impress me all the time. Im sure he has a crush on me (or had) but i never liked him. Hes very violent and disrespectful to s and everybody else.
Id like to consider him my friend, but i dont want him to disrespect me. I've tried telling him that he needs to be respectul but he just brushes me off, hes even threatend to shoot me (idt he was serius) and recently he would not let me past him cuz he wanted to 'talk' so in a rage, trying to get past him i got mad and bit him.....whoops. but everytime somthing happens hell tell me im not fit to be living, or im a low life etc. then hell come back and be like "Rachel! why arent you talking to me!?" Now im trying to avoid him. How can I pound it into his head that if he wants to hang with me hes gotta be a gentleman?
PS sorry this Q was so long, i had alot to let out!

okay i'm going on a runaway scheme with my friend and we r leaving on thursday and coming back on monday.

we broke up due to lack of time to see each other, work school alot of pressure. The attraction is still there definately but since we dont feel like we have to see each other pressure is less. We still joke like we used to, and he has even said he didnt want to break up but its best for now. There is no one else in his life. He said he never wants to hurt me. I went to school with Sue, but became friends after college. Sue hooked up with my friend (Joe) & dated him, & told Joe not to talk to me. After they broke up, Sue & I hung out again. I began liking Brad, until I found out he had a girlfriend in TX. I stopped liking him & became just friends. Meanwhile, Sue went behind my back & kissed him, then she told me the next day that they had been seeing each other a couple nights a week, but only as "friends". The third time she stabbed me in the back was when she had oral sex with Dan (my big brother), we all went uptown one night, & she followed him home. Even though all this happened she's still my best friend. After a year passed, I meet Jon my fiance. Sue moved 50 miles away. We see each other, but it's not the same. Jon introduced me to his friend Jim and Nic (his fiance). Me and Nic have became good friends, shes never done me dirty, we get along great! Both of them fight over comments on myspace. This is childish of them. What do I do?

A friend of mine just tried to commit suicide by taking a lot of pills (Zanax) and now she is in the hospital. My mother and sister just went to visit her but I haven't gone yet. I do know her through my sister, and she wasn't my friend first, but I do consider her a friend who is close to my heart. I don't know what to do in terms of visiting her or what to say when I see her. Or what to say to her mother. It's an akward situation and I've been in her place before, wanting to die and not succeeding at it, and I also know how akward it is to have visitors in the hospital.

My friend in school LICKED my planner & my bracelet. It was so strange!! she licked my other friends pencil then started licking my school planner & bracelet its soooooooooooo horrible. Sometimes she can be verrrry annoying and a few days ago she spat at someone and it was yellow AND DANGLELY!!!!!! Yesterday a friend (girl) touched my head and I got really pissed , but still, I maintained a right way of approaching this
and asked her to please not touch my head. Right away she said, "oh, sorry..I didn't know you were all delicate"...WTF?
I felt like telling her twenty two ounce self to shut her sloppy self up, and act like a lady=)....Is it me, or am I the only person who doesn't appreciate or, feel it's necessary to touch people when greeting or having a simple conversation? I believe in the hand shaking, but even then I automatically want to wash my hands..am I a snob, or what?

My friend had this party and we were all drinking. My best friend (guy) and I were flirting all night. (I really like him.) We were spending the night after the party. Laying on the couch in the basement, he rolled over and kissed me. The problem is, my other bestfriend (girl) used to like him and is just getting over him. I spoke to him the next morning and he said he does like me as more than a friend, but we should take it slow. I havent talked to him about it since. I am not sure if the only reason he kissed me was because we were drunk, or he really likes me. And I also dont want to hurt my friend, if she still has feelings for him.

why is it that questions like "how many answers can I get in the next 10 minutes" get like 30 answers and the poor people on here who really need advice only get like 2-6 answers? And then on other questions that really need serious answers people put down things that are mean and/or stupid.

as dumb as this is going to sound..last night i went to a party w/friends. Ihad a few drinks but not to where i was too drunk..i dont remember anything, ecept tiny lttle bits, i remember talking to my friends friend outside thats all , I woke up in the alley , i had paseed out, it was late , & my clothes were dirty, n my pants unzipped, my blouse looked thrown on, i went looking for the car we came in & realized my friends had left, i started crying and was super scared i didnt know what to do I didnt have my purse or cell, someone called the cops & next thing i know i had 3 cars pulling in front of me, they asked me questions & tried contacting my family, they kept advicing me i go the hospital b/c if i didnt drink that much then i shouldnt have passed out or not remember anything, so some1 couldve put something im my drink..i couldnt stop crying. i was so frieghtened & upset I told them idk yet i just wanted to go home. Today i felt so so sick i slept all day & threw up like 5 times
