My friend had this party and we were all drinking. My best friend (guy) and I were flirting all night. (I really like him.) We were spending the night after the party. Laying on the couch in the basement, he rolled over and kissed me. The problem is, my other bestfriend (girl) used to like him and is just getting over him. I spoke to him the next morning and he said he does like me as more than a friend, but we should take it slow. I havent talked to him about it since. I am not sure if the only reason he kissed me was because we were drunk, or he really likes me. And I also dont want to hurt my friend, if she still has feelings for him.
What should I do !?

if you don't want to hur t your friend than you need to talk to both of them and find out their feelings ask your friend if she would mind if you two started dating but dont get ahead of yourself. then ask him, what the deal is with yall. and ask him if he wants more than friendship. but don't make anything definate unless you talk to your friend first.

You are sweet to be so considerate of your friend.

The kiss meant that you two were drunk. Nothing more.

Generally, friends don't date their friend's ex's. It's sort of an unsaid rule. I know you really like him, but talk to your friend (girl).

If she's okay with it, then perhaps initiate a relationship with this guy. Otherwise, stick to fresh waters. Find someone else.

Oh, and also, drink responsibly!

maybe you should just ask him...if you want to take it slow take it slow...if shes over him then don't worry about it i say all is fair in love and war
and he might have kissed you because he was drunk and had the guts to do it and if you didn't like it he could have sex wow i didn't mean to i was drunk...he was using the being drunk to his advantage...i say just talk to him in person would proably be better or even send him a text if your comfortable w/ the idea

good luck!

Shake it off, give it some distance and time. You should respect your friend, and gain some perspective about the feelings during sobriety. Just be patient. It won't be forever before you know if this is just passing fancy or something more, but let it go for now.

Well, if he and your friend are "over" then she has to come to terms with the fact that he's going to be with someone at some point in time...as will she. All this requires from you is a candid talk to tell her how you two have connected...a courtesy talk, if you will, so that she wouldn't hear about it from someone else less sensitive to her feelings. At that point, honor is satisfied.

Well, let him ask you out first. Dont fall for him just yet cause two people who are drunk tend to do stupid things they usually regret. As for your friend, unless he is an ex of hers, there is no reason you shouldnt see him. Just remember, hoes before bros.

I think you should first search whether there is a relation between your girl friend and him. Then you can decide if he is serious or not.
