Friends - October 2007

I've realized that I like to crack jokes alot, & people tend to laugh at them. & I've also realized that from doing stupid things, that are kinda just me.. they call me 'stupid' and 'retarded' alot. & I don't really appreciate it

Also, since I act so 'retarded', my friends assume that I'm really stupid & can't do anything well. Sure, I'm not the BRIGHTEST person. You can't expect me to be all genius & all. Y'know?

So I've realized with this one friend. I make her laugh alot, & she's always like: Arielle, you're soo retarded! Or something similar.

& I love drawing, so does she. So whenever I draw something it's almost like a reflex, she is always like: Mine's better. Like I drew something today, & she was like: I think mine's better. & I mean, I really do think I'm nice, but I couldn't help but get snappy.

& she's always putting me down. Like: Ew, Arielle, your outfit totally doesn't match. I mean, at least I have a life & I'm not always trying to coordinate.

okay. my friend is closer to my older sister's age, but still in my grade. recently i took this friend to the beach and my older sister wasnt happy because she "hated" her. my sister knows VERY WELL that i HATE it when my friends become friends with her because i am afraid that they will like her more. but anyways, my sister is acting like im a little baby when me, her, and my friend are together and she makes me feel bad about myself. i cant talk to my sister because she will call my a cry baby and my parents think im over reacting. and now that my sister is telling my friend secrets that she wont even tell me, im getting afraid of my friend liking my sister more. what should i do???

Okay well there is this troublemaker in my class at school who sits right behind me. Today he decided to pick on this other guy, who was kind of my friend. He and his friend started saying all this crap about the other guy,and making fun of him, not knowing that he was listening to just about every word they said. Well the guy behind me is a real comedian so natrully I just started laughing at his jokes throughout the whole class period. When the period was over, the guy they were making fun of was really pissed at all 3 of us, so eventually he told the teacher about what happened. I caught up with my classmate in the hallway, but she seemed a little angry at me too. I felt a little bad because I didn't intentially mean to make fun of the guy at all, but I was just laughing at the jokes because they were just well..funny. So now I have three problems: Will I get in trouble with the teacher? Will that guy ever speak to me again? And will my friend forgive me? Serious answers only guys!

She's my close friend and she is depressed so deeply that she gave up plans to go to sixflags with me and other friends. Her ex broke up with up with her and she cant get him out of her mine. She wants to deny him in making out but she rather not do it now. She doesn't care any more but I know she's lying.

What do you do if your boyfriend dumps you at school camp, then that same night his bestfriend asks you out and you say yes, and he gets P.O.ed and starts cursing his head off, and the next week he's going out with your bestfriend! should i make him not go out with her. because he made his friend dump me b/c he threatened to turn everyone against us! what do i do?

He lives in the city that we grew up together in which is notorious for drugs due to an abundance of money
and lack of things to do. He has admitted his addiction and his parents were going to take him to rehab this coming Friday, but something happened with that and now he is not going for some reason and is intent on moving out of that city. I told him that he could come and live with me in the relatively drug-free community that I live in after he went to rehab. Now that he isn't going, he still wants to move either here or to another certain town that is even more notorious for an abundance of cocaine than our hometown (because he can make a lot of money working there). I don't know if I will be able to help him if he comes here to live with me, and it could cause problems for me, but if he doesn't come here he will be going into a "snowstorm". I have tried to convince him to fix things with his parents and to go to rehab, but there is no convincing him. What should I do?

well im in the 7th and he is in the 8th and i really like him sooo much. I call him sexy all the time and draw his name on almost all my papers! Yesterday my friend told me to talk to him at 3rd period, well before. I saw him and called out his name and said hi and wave. We had eye contact for like 4 seconds and i felt so weird and jittery. I never had the courage to talk to him and i want to talk to him so we can get to know each other.

So I was going out with someone who we'll refer to as "A". So I used to really like him, but over the summer, things didn't go well, and I broke up with him last week. I still kinda like him, but that isn't even the main problem. I have been friends with his best friend "B" for a very very long time. I have come to realize that I really like him ("B"). I don't know if there is anyway that I can tell "B" how I feel withpout hurting either of them. I still care about "A" and am his friend, and obviously don't want to hurt his feelings, because that's mean. I don't know if this will cause a fight between "A" and "B", but I really love "B" and have a feeling he feels the same way about me, but I don't want our relationship to be ruined because I said something. I pretty much have no idea what to do. What. So. Ever. Any help is very much appreciated.

There's been too much going on in my life the past few weeks and I think I'm going to explode! (not really though) I have an awful lot of catching up to do, my kids have done something to my computer, I passed my re-certification for arms (but, by the skin of my a55) I spent most of today at the hospital with my mother in law (she's really sick) and have to head out tomorrow to Lowell with my boy to the childrens hospital. I've tried to update the site http://shadowrai0.tripod.com/shad/ and things seem kind of out of sorts, I truly apologize for being so behind *^_^*



I will have next Mon, Tues and Wed off and should be good to go by then....

I know some people disagree with going to church. Lets leave that argument to the side. What if you were attending church, and you are a new member, and make friends with one member, then he introduces you to the rest of the kids, you hang out for a few months, then it all falls apart and they all hate you. You go back to the church every once in a while because you have to (mom says, or you go because a younger family member wants to go and can't by themselves), and when you encounter these people in this circle they are extremely rude to you, like, there is no way you can go without some run-in with them no matter how low-profile you try to be. What do you do? What do I do?

So here's the deal. I dated a girl second semester last year. We broke up at the end of the school year and didnt really talk over the summer. She is now dating one of my good friend's who I am living with in an apartment this year with 2 other guys. I am still pretty good friends with the guy who she is now dating. we are both in nrotc together. Anyways, the two other guys seem to have sided with my ex since the breakup and we don't really talk much amongst each other or hang out anymore...which is sad since we used to be good friends, and hang all the time. Our apt. is 8 driving minutes north of campus and I do not have a car. All of my roommates do, and there is a bus that only runs on weekdays. let the stress begin.i found out what team i was on, 7-4. i was so excited because my best friend in the whole world was on my team. but, when we went to school they were all people we didn't know (losers, no offense..) and EVERYONE else was on 7-2. i used to have a best friend. his name was adam. we used to talk on the phone for hours and IM each other forever. my best friend (shes the one who's on my team) her name is nori. shes the one who introduced me to adam. remeber when i said we talked on the phone and computer nonstop? well we did that with nori. from chat rooms to 3-way we talked so much. the 1st time we talked on the phone was july 4th. then nori and adam start dating and adam breaks up with her 3 days later for his neighbor lauren. all phone calls ended. we talked on the computer less. they are still going out, mind you. and when i see adam in the halls he never says hi to us and in gym... (this is really long and im runing out of room so im typing in additional details).

I am unconfortable. Because I cannot and do not want to pay for those expensive gift for her 1 years old son. I been her friend for more than 10 years. I think this a time for quit our freindship. I have been at this job for a couple of weeks already and he had approached me several times with bs. I stay to myself all the time cause I HAVE ALOT TO DO. My past has told me that a person who posts his accomplishments publicly is asking for trouble. I feel like I ain't giving him a fair chance, but he does things to me that pisses me off. death was completely out of the blue and she is understandably just bereft.

For example I met her in town today and she was still crying constantly/looked so lost. She also said that her parents are on her back telling her that she will need to move on and so on which I personally feel is only adding to her woes and is not helpful.

Anyways, as I had my 2 year old with me I could not stay and talk too long but have arranged for her to come round tomorrow night - it has been so long since I lost someone close that I am beginning to wonder how to help or what to say.. certainly I will listen as best I possibly can but is there any advice that the yahoo community

I've never had a problem with Tammy even though she is a bit too much on the wild side for my tastes. She and my wife have been friends for years.

Anyway, I told my wife a party sounded fun. She told me though that Tammy was calling this a CFNM party and I just stared blankly at her not knowing what that was. (She didn't know either until Tammy told her) It's a Clothed Female Nude Male party. All the men that attend must undress totally at the door and walk around the party in the buff while the fully clothed women have total visual and physical access to any man they want. My wife laughed out loud and thought it was a wild but fun idea while my response was less enthusiastic. I'm told the people invited are couples in the neighborhood along with some of the "hotter" single men in the area and some single females as well. My wife thinks it would be a trip to go and try it out and I am against it. What do you all think? She already said she won't go without me.

I really felt that the friendship had many negative qualities to it since we were always talking abt her "problems". She had so many issues with men, aging, other friendships.

I found her to be very selfish and caught her lying to me several times.

I broke off this friendship by just stopping all contact with her. Now, I wish I had said something. At the time, I didn't think I could say anything in a nice, mature, respectful way so I just said nothing.

I really don't want that friendship back so I am not going to contact her.

It's just why do I feel so bad about this? I've actually started dreaming her??????

I know girl from school. We used to hang out a lot but i only used to see her as a friend. Time passed by and we continued to be good friends (there were moments that i felt that i was much more for her but acted like nothing was happening). We know each other very well (i don't think there is something about her that i don't know) like bfs and stuff. Lately we hanged around a lot and we had a lot of fun. One night we kissed pationately (that was i kiss...). The other day was very awkward and we agreed that we should stop it. One week after we repeated the kiss. But the other day she told me that she thinks of me more as a friend than a lover. That hurt me a lot so i asked her out and told her that i like her a lot. That i don't want the role of a friend anymore because i don't think that suits me (it's very difficult to see her friendly). I told her that our relationship is an "all or nothing situation". She started crying and told that it was my fault. Never talked again! Thoughts?
