I think it depends on what kind of "making fun" it is. Now if it's just fun and basic "talking smack" then that can be fun. My friends and I mess with each other all the time. If they are down right mean, then NO it is so not cool!! That is a friendship breaker.

It's when I am made fun of by a girlfriend when we finally end up in bed, I hate it when I take my clothes off and they start to laugh, I can deal with that, it is when they POINT and laugh that bothers me.

If they're messing with me and teasing, ya I can. If they get personal in there teasing, I get mad. If a large group of my friends starts teasing me though, I get mad sometimes because I feel overpowered, but I usually deserve it.
If a friend is talking bad about me behind my back, then I have a problem with them.

when i was a teen i couldnt stand it. when my "friends" made fun of me i didnt hang out w/ them anymore. looking back i should have lightened up. but back in the day i was very insecure, sensitive, and socially challenged. lol :)

It depends. If there laughing WITH me and not AT me and it's not something hurtful or something that they know that I'm sensitive about then fine. People should be able to laugh at themselves every once in a while.

that happened to me.. i got new best friends..
I'm still friends with the other girls..but not close or anything.
i say just get new friends.(ya its really hard)

I wonder if they are really friends, if they treat us mean. I mean, what is the point in having enemies if our friends treat us badly?

talking s*** and behind my back pisses me off
when they do it to my face, i know theyre joking, so its not taht big of a deal.
