Friends - October 2007

okay so i read a story in english class today.
this is basically what it is:
to a young balck girl the word ******* means something different when said by a white person in school than one of her friends or family.

i think that is such crap.
if you are going around and your friends and fam are saying it..and you dont have a problem then whats the big deal with someone else saying it. look at all the rap songs that have the word niggger in it. shouldnt you get mad about that too? i mean they arent your friends or your family.

what do you guys think?

I have a friend named Danni, she's 15 years old and weighs 90lbs and she still says she's fat! I dont really think it's healthy for a 15 year old (who is 5'9 feet tall) to weigh as little as she does :( Do you think she's anorexic or do you think I'm just blowing things out of Proportion? And how should I talk to her about it?

I know.. its youung.
Everyone is expecting me to be supportive.
That's all I ever hear. Be supportive be supporitive.
But how can I be so supportive when I don't think that she should keep the baby. I know its not my choice, but I know her she's my cousin and she is NOT ready for a child.
I can't possibly pretend to be okay with everything when im not, and Im repremanded when I speak my thoughts.
Do you blame me?
What should i do?

I know a girl who is friends with this other girl ok. They are both friends and one of them takes her friends sweater, and cuts it up into a million pieces with scizzors because she thought it was "funny". Ridiculous right?

ok so i have been close friends with this guy for like ever. 3.5 years. (that is long when you are a teen) anyways he's been going out with katelyn for 5 months. she was going to a different school so mine and rj's relationship stayed fine. I would hear all the crap like him saying, " i feel like crap when im around here...i feel like im always saying sorry"...stuff like that. and i would just nod. (never bagged on her) OH, by the way did i tell you she i beautiful and he has no back bone. so, she decides to go to his school the next year, which is also my school. So over the summer me and rj hang out like normal, everything seems fine. then the next school years starts and i see the girlfriend she stares at me all weird and i go over to say "hi" to rj, she glares at me and he totally ignores me. then later that day i see rj all by himself. i ask whats up and he just walks away. apparently she thinks i hate her. so is it my fault or his or the girlfriends? Whats the reason?

I am in my 1st year of high school and already I have a semi bad reputation. People call me a ho who don't even know me. My guess behind that is because I hang around a lot of boys(they are mainly my friends because girls love to fight and argue but I am not like that). They say that I am a ho because they see me with a different boy everyday. I mean if you don't want to see me with different boys then don't look at me then. I have asked all of my upperclass friends do they think I am a ho and they all said no. I asked the 9th grade boys do they think I am a ho and they also said no. I need some important advice. I gave my friend, which is a guy some money, it wasn't alot of money but it was something, because he said he needed it to keep him from going to jail to pay his probation officer, I haven't spoke with him in two weeks, going on three weeks soon, I have been calling him, but he hasn't return any of my phone calls, and I getting really pissed off at him, I didn't have to give him that money. I made him sign a paper stating he was gone to pay me back, can I take him to court, because he sign the paper stating he was gone to pay me back.

im going to a house party at a friends house, how can i stop my parents from finding out? She lives around 11 miles away from my house but my dad works in the area that she lives in. I've told my parents that im going to stay in my best friends house for the night just to hang out and watch a movie, but in reality im going to a completley different persons house to a party. Im really excited about it, but im also worried coz my mum could find out! she might phone my best friends mum on the night of the party when im supposed 2 be staying at her house, and realise that im not there at all! wat can i do? and please dont say 'dont go coz i reali wana go!O also, the house where the party is gonna be held is absolutly amazing. The house is lovely and we were wonderin how can we stop if from gettin destroyed? Her parents dont know about the party so the house cant get ruined! its got marble floors, leather sofas and flatscreen tvs on the wall and everythin so it CANT get ruined! any tips?

I have a friend I will call "Kelly" Her mother and father just told her that her dad slept with her bestfriend "Tinas" mom...when she got pregnant with Tina. Tina and Kelly look alot alike..same hair, skin, etc. Tina does not look like her dad, but this other guy. But Kelly does not want to tell her because she is afraid of breaking up their family and Tina thinking she is a liar. They are both almost 24!Their "families" have been friends since they were little. I am really close to Tina and want her to know but also do not think it is my business. Please help because I do believe Tina should know who her real father is, but if it is not true then what it just opened a can of worms. HELP I feel guilty holding it in.

I have a few close girl friends but most of my friends are guys. And its alot of drama ALOT! That on the real i keep out of cuz in this drama my guy friends and girl friends have dated and it has always ened wrong, And they brake up and i always get put in the middle. Well to make a long story straight my supposed girls are talkin mad crap about me cuz im still friends ith there ex boyfriends and we hang out more then i do with them. See i known my boys longer then the females and now there just sayin im ****** up that i shouldnt turn my back on my girls lalala you know im just look the drama you guys have is between you guys not me.. and the realtionship i have with either has nothing to do with the other, The point is my homeboys have been good to me and they show me love but my girls there pure drama, how do i make them see where not in high school and to grow up?? cuz seriously there gonna say something stupid to me and im gonna ended up beating there ***..and i dont want 2 dothat! see they are the type of females that hold grudges and will do anything to screw you over, and i see that and i dont talk to them as much there evil .. what do i do ?? do i confrot them and see what happens? or should i kick it with my home boys more to tick them off? or should i whatever it i know its imature to go to there level but ****!! its hard not to . or should get even with them for makin my homeboys lifes impossible that live to they mess with them and always find a way to screw them over in whatever they do??

whats wrong with me? i want to cry sometimes, nothing comes. when i was in high school i went to dozens of funerals, and after each one i cried less and less now i go to a funeral or wedding and my eyes are dry as the desert. i lived in peru for 2 months in the ghettos and have seen some bad stuff, i lost my sister, saw one friend bloody with bullet holes and dead on the concrete, and now feel like i have a lot bottled up inside me waiting to be released but i cant seem to get it out. can anyone help?

Okay a couple of weeks ago me and some friends had went out to my friends house. it was about 10pm when we all started to loosen up and sart flirting with each other. ok so humm...i had a friend of mine, we had a huge falling out, we were interested in each other but the distance would allow us to be together so at the end we remained friends. he had a gf which i was totally happy about but then he started ignoring me to the point where he blamed me for us having tension in our friendship and at the end we stopped talking. i went on his profile and i saw that he was single...we still live in the same areas, so the distance is still a problem, but i just wanted to email him just saying hi...i really want us to be friends again. so will it be bad if i jsut say hi to him??? advice anyone?? lol....also thing is i dont know if he's really single, he plays with his status all the time....

I am always there for them, I listen to their crap, put up with them, laugh with them, listen to them gossip about others and eachother, kept secrets for them, everything, but it seems like, after they are through with me helping them, they are through with me! I tell them secrets and they go and tell other people! I try to have a serious conversation with them, and they talk to other people about it, and make jokes about it! I know that they talk to eachother about me behind my back! I told them a secret, and they told someone else, then tried to convince me that I told that person!
