Is it best to come clean, even though you no they will never ever speak to you again?

Yes. And no. And the best for your own conscience is to tell them and ask them to forgive you and if they don't, then you've done the right thing and they're the ones with the problem. Friends who don't forgive friends aren't friends at all. Anybody perfect out there, i'd like to meet them.

I have never done that...you are not a friend by spreading people's business all over the place. But if confronted for doing such a heinous thing, a person should come clean, no matter the consequences.

Psssst....I have a secret....we have ALL done that.
And, yes, it is always regreted in one form or another.
I have done so and felt the need to come clean to the friend but it was done out of love because I felt her life was in danger. Come to find out, it wasn't and I stirred up the wrong people. I told my friend before she heard it from others and she was angry but understood.

tell her go to her and talk to her come 100% absolutely clean with her tell her its better if she finds out from u rather thn finding it out from someone else... trust me just telll her she MIGHT even forgive u if u could be a big enough person and tell her what u did.. and if u dont tell her ur gona have to live with that guilt for a lon long time..and if u have a heart trust me IT WILL BOTHER U so just come clean..

No, but I've had a friend blurb out one of my secrets. Needless to say, she and I are no longer friends because I am not the only one she has done that to. She just can't be trusted because she has a big mouth.
