I am in my 1st year of high school and already I have a semi bad reputation. People call me a ho who don't even know me. My guess behind that is because I hang around a lot of boys(they are mainly my friends because girls love to fight and argue but I am not like that). They say that I am a ho because they see me with a different boy everyday. I mean if you don't want to see me with different boys then don't look at me then. I have asked all of my upperclass friends do they think I am a ho and they all said no. I asked the 9th grade boys do they think I am a ho and they also said no. Only the girls(9th) call me that, I guess because I don't hang around them. I am still a virgin, I dont have sex. Well I am a smart, pretty, black girl and I am not trying to sound conceited but a lot of boys want to "talk" to me, I talk to them as friends but nothing more than that. awwwwww thx you guys, that really helped me lol im in keyboarding(4th period) , and i started laughin really loud at some of the things you all said, it made me smile, and that stuff is true... they make little remarks to me when im walking past them or they walk past me, but i dont really show it unless its to my close male friends, i just want to be friend with everyone, i dont like to hurt people or be mean.... also its this one girl who is so twisted, she cant get over the fact that this boy who she likes doesnt like her but he likes me and she just keeps harassing me or whatever. and also people assume i am dating the boys who i hang around but i deny it, but if they believe it then i make them see it visually as though i am, so i give them something to talk about even more and hunnie you dont have to worry about me having sex no time soon, cuz its an *** of girls in th 9th grade who are pregnant.. and some girls dont see y boyz like me cuz im skinny, i dont really have a shape...

but i have a bangin *** personality, and boys tell me all the time that im not like other girls because i dont have an attitude problem. im laid back and crazy...im like one of the boyz(im not a tomboy im a pretty girl) and i dont expect boys to want to hit it all the time

First of all if your not sleeping around you're not a hoe. Don't let these little girls who are still so immature and jealous get you down or even offend you. Tell them to grow up. Your supposed to grow up with age, not become more stupid and immature. These girls just sound like a total waste of time. They are probably just jealous cause while you get the attention and friendship of the guys they get nothing but nagging and whining from other immature high school girls and no attention from the guys. It could also be that you probably stand out amongst most the girls, either by looks or personality and they probably see you as a threat toward a guy they might like or might be dating. But in any case you are not a hoe, so ignore those girls. The main focus of their name calling is to mentally mess with your head and to get you to question your actions. Be yourself don't let them get you down. They hate cause they wish they could have some of your traits.

Some people don't understand that just because they think so, doesn't mean their right. *sigh*
Your mother and your close girlfriend are right, they are jealous, a younger pretty girl is getting the attention of older guys ( the guys being their age). Their probably torturing themselves in their minds!
Look. Let them ponder in their ignorance, girls like these don't deserve to be thought about, looked at or even asked about!

You'll find a lot of girls like that in life. Just watch your back & don't let them get to you. You know that you are not a ho & your friends & family know that you aren't either & that is all that matters.
Just watch out for those guys. They have silver tongues & will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you into bed. Not all guys are like this, but there are enough that are that you need to be suspicious of every single one. Sometimes the sleazy guys are the last ones you'd suspect. (I know, you've heard this speech before, but I always give this out to people when they are about your age. I'm fine tuning it for when my niece gets old enough to date. LOL.)
Good for you that you are focusing on your education & not giving into peer pressure! You go, girl!

lol.. welll the girls are jealous because you get along so well with all the guys and the ONLY way they can imagine that (in their limited, little, self-centered, twisted minds) is if you are having sex with all of them.
And.. it will get worse... they will start spreading rumors about you and all that.. just because you are comfortable with guys and they aren't.
My advice... don't hang out with those girls, do your own thing..and after a while (once they give it up and get knocked up or an STD or two....) they will realize that all you have to do to talk to a guy is... talk to them.. pretty easy!!!
hang in there... after graduation.... things get better...

Then the term "Ho" just sounds like a jealous term from a bunch of jealous chicks.
Be proud of yourself that you have these guy friends and don't worry too much about those silly chicks. They're just wanting some attention too.

Ignore their jealousy. Keep doing what you are doing and just ignore them. If it gets really bad and you have repeatedly told people to stop...tell the school administraition. Otherwise, just bask in their jealous rays.
Trust me, that is all it is. Girls are petty, annoying things. It won't get better as you get older...but you will learn that most people hating on you are actually so freaking jealous it hurts.

Women are always suspicious of a woman who likes to hang out with guys instead of other women. So they assume she's what you call a "ho". And it's an assumption based on jealousy.

The girls do this because they are jealous. They are jealous because you are able to talk to the boys and they are so afraid of rejection and what the other girls think, that they won't talk to the boys...
As long as your friends are OK, don't worry about the other girls...

Only reason people make fun of other people is because they want something that person has. Would you spend your time talking **** on someone for winning the lottery? I would, because I want that ******' money.
The point is, they wanna be popular with the boys or whatever, and they hate you for doing it. **** 'em, try hard in school, don't give in to the people making fun of you like I did because if you do you'll **** up your life.

I wouldn't let those girls "get" to me. From your writing on here you seem to be an intelligent person who is goal oriented. Let them think what they will. Are their faces green? You know they envy you and are so jealous of you that they stink! You just keep up the good work and continue to be a good girl.
