whats wrong with me? i want to cry sometimes, nothing comes. when i was in high school i went to dozens of funerals, and after each one i cried less and less now i go to a funeral or wedding and my eyes are dry as the desert. i lived in peru for 2 months in the ghettos and have seen some bad stuff, i lost my sister, saw one friend bloody with bullet holes and dead on the concrete, and now feel like i have a lot bottled up inside me waiting to be released but i cant seem to get it out. can anyone help?

You've just become numb to the pain. Please don't take into account what other guys may tell you. It's healthy and normal to shed tears. It doesn't make you any less of a man to do so. In fact it shows a great deal more. It shows that you aren't afraid of looking weak and you're in tune with your emotions.
Is there anyone you can sit down and talk to? Someone that you're close to...or maybe even someone like a counselor. You need to reach inside and connect with yourself. It isn't healthy to keep these feelings bottled up inside.
Writing helps me release bottled up feelings. Try that, write out everything that you're feeling. Buy a notebook and keep it as a journal. It's extremely theraputic. Hope that helps you. Good luck to you.

Johnny B. sorry to hear that at present you are incapable of releasing these emotions through your tear ducts. Perhaps you should go and see your family doctor and see if there is something physically wrong with you, perhaps blocked tear ducts or something. We all cry at times regardless of sex, race or age. Best of luck and hopefully you will find reason why this is happening to you soon.

i think only a girl can create feelings in u.....i meant u need someone to love u...to share ur sorrows, to console u in hard times....
