Friend's don't treat your feelings as trivial and tell you to get over yourself. They listen even if you have said something over and over again. They value your opinion and the time you take listening to them. They remember when you were there for them and reciprocate. And they don't call you dozens of times while they run errands and expect you to have a conversation while someone else is taking to them.

A friend is someone you can go to for help and they will listen, or at least pretend to listen.A friend is someone who always has a shoulder for you to cry on or a big hug waiting for you.
