Alot of people keep calling my male friend a show off/flashy.
What do they do this?
He doesn't seem like a show off to me.

Is he doing things that others have a difficult time doing, but that he seems to have little trouble with?
If he is, then he would be showing off if he was doing it to show everyone how good he is...
All of us show-off in different ways, but most people don't take note of it unless it is particularily overt.
Alternatively, they could be calling him a show-off because he's "flaunting" his friendship with you. I've seen that happen too.
In any case, if he's not acting to put others down, ignore the comments.
If they continue, ASK them why they claim he is showing off.

Those people are just jealous of your friend. They are intimidated by him maybe because he's popular or he's good at something.
