Hiya,
I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm not sure what to do.
One of my primary school teachers died last week, she was only 38. She was an amazing teacher, and did a lot to help me. I was really upset so I wrote down all the things I wished I could have told her before she died in a letter.
I was going to send this letter to her mum to show how much her daughter meant to me, and what a lovely person she was, but now I don't know whether to or not.
Do you think I should?
Thank you in advance. xxx

I know it will upset her mother, but she's obviously going to be upset anyway. I just thought it might help to know what a difference her daughter made to me. xx

Yes, I would definitely send the letter, I recently lost someone close to me and I have told her mom and sister everything I felt for my girlfriend and it has worked out because we can all mutually support each other, so my advice is go ahead

Yes. Don't be afraid to send it. I am sure it will help her to know how much her Daughter was loved by others. I think the fear of feeling the bereaved are upset by such things is more with us than them. This is the time when they need the support and comfort from those around who were close to that person.

I would send the letter but maybe write on it first that you are sorry for the loss of her daughter. Also maybe send her some flowers? The letter will let her know that her daughter was loved by all her friends too and she might feel better that she isnt the only one going through it. x

well firstly let me say sorry for your loss she seems like she was a nice person! The answer to your problem is whether you want anyone else to know how much she meant to you but nowu have put it on yahoo you might aswell tell her mother because she will know that her daughter was very much loved and cared for!!!
i hope this helped!!

Hi,
This lady obviously touched your heart a lot and it would be nice for her mother to know she is remembered and never forgotten.
Maybe send some lovely flowers with a Sympathy card and enclosed a letter for her mother - it lovely tribute.
Sorry to hear of her death.

Revise your letter when you are not so upset and YES, send it to them. They may be grieving but it will be very heart warming and uplifting for them to read how she inspired you. In times of grief an uplifting message is always gratefully received.

You can do more than that visit your teacher's mom regularly and help her if you can in anyway and then tell her your teacher would have wanted me to do that, and then show her the letter.all the best.
