all the teenagers that comit crimes, do you think it is their fault they get in trouble or would you blame the parents?

I really believe that my mom is chooseing her biyfriend over me. My mom is 45 and is old enough to make her own decisions but yet acts childish due to being an alocholic. He is an abuser and many ohter things. Im 17 and moved out is there any way that i can get her to realize what she is doing? And for her to realize that he is controling her life to a point to hwere her daughter cant live there or even get along with her anymore?

She cares animals more than people and when my brother and her were in a Hospital Waiting Room when someone walked by she said "look how he's dressed" and she looks real young she is 48. she has 2 cats and talks for an HOUR AND A HALF with my grandmother on the phone about NOTHING BUT KITTENS! EVERY DAY! even when I am trying to get through and there is no time. and every birthday/giftcard I have gotten since I was born has had a kitty/cat on it... she is a nurse and she thinks she is a woman with rights and that she makes a difference in the constitution of the United States of America and she is a big fan of Hillary Clinton, what do I do?

im 16 years old and i dont fit in with my family. they all loook diffrent act diffrent and everything when ever they do stuff together i often feel discluded. they consintly make fun of me and treat my sister liek a princess

I mean like everywhere.. out to eat, shopping, and it's always with THEIR friends. I just sit there and do nothing but look at the wall or table the whole time. I mean I get a "hey, how are you? how's school?" and that's it.

What the hell is the point of making me go places with them? I really do not understand.

I have a brother who is always saying that he's going to pay someone off to throw me in a mental home. Is this possible? he says that I don't deserve to be in public and that when our parents die he's going to try and get custody of me and throw me away for life. I'm very coherent and I know where I am and I'm not crazy. Could he really do this? Could I get him in trouble with the law for threating me?...This really isn't a joke...and I'm the oldest one. I take care of myself, and I'm not mentally retarded. Its just threats he makes because he thinks I shouldn't exsist....help?

My mum and dad argue a lot... When this happens I am being put in the middle and it is like choosing every single time who I love more. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents so much and it is pretty painful seeing them going through all this. When they are both happy and not mad at each other I get amused how much they love each other. They both had bad problems at work (my dad had to find a new job because of political issues and my mum's school got closed so she has to work in another town) so they are both under a lot of pressure.
My mama never cries... now when I see her doing it, I don't know what to tell her... I can't be the parent of two kids who don't want to forgive each other!
How do I make things better for them and help them realize that they need the other one to survive? Sorry it is so long but I have to help them... I love them too much to watch them hurt each other!

My dad was amazing when I was little. Now he can't let me grow up, and everyone says that. He yells at me and gets mad at me for anything he can, no matter how stupid he looks. He says I never do anything right and make him look bad. I'm almost 17 and don't have to go see him, but some people (like his girlfriend and mom) feel badly for him and say I should just deal with it. Why would I wanna be screamed at every weekend? Am I wrong here? Honestly?

My cousin and I grew up together and have been very close throughout most of our lives.
However, I have a huge issue with her that's making me think I don't need her in my life.
I'm gay. She doesn't have an issue with that. But, she votes for and supports political candidates that want to take away my rights (such as marriage,etc.)
I'm very offended over this and everytime I look into her eyes I see a hypocrite that doesn't really support me and my lifestyle.
Should I kick her to the curb?

My mother is disabled (both mentally and physically) and because of this she's been used and abused.....thus she has PTSD, my fathers a very abusive person, who rarely listens to any one. I've been Co-dependent for too many years and tried to help both of them...but enough is enough.
Is there any free or inexpensive family counselors online????

My parents are divorced. My mom says the card I got for my dad for his birthday this month is kind of mean. I want to know what you guys think?

On the front it says "We didn't know which card to get for a GREAT dad like you, but we knew it had to have the words super, fantastic and cool in it"

Then when you open it on the inside it says "Happy Birthday from your super fantastic cool kids"

i am moving closer to my girlfirend and i am getting a 1 bedroom bachlor apartment, with a bathroom and kitchen And my girlfirned want to move in with me when she is done school. i am really touched by this but do you think it is unrealist? we could be comfortable and we will move to a bigger place eventually, but essentially we live in one room together.

I was a single mom of two, they are both adults now, I am not trying to be judgemental, but how can you forget you have a baby in the car. When we were riding in the car, and they were quiet, the first thing I did was to notice how quiet the car was. I had my mirror always on them. I am the proud mother of a 18 month old daughter, and a 4 month old son. We have had mostly girls in my side of the family. My father always wanted a son and never did.

Anyhow, the trouble is that my father, their grandpa has acted weird towards my son since his birth. Not only was he not there when he was born at the hospital. They promised they would come out then and help while I recovered from my complicated c-section, but never came. We weren't expecting them to do anything if they came here but why make a promise and back out like that?

Finally they came out when my son was 3 months old to visit. But when they were here they acted like it was a vacation for them and my dad didn't even hold him twice the whole time and acted rude to DH.

I mentioned that maybe the new baby and I would come out to visit yesterday - dad was totally weird and said he wanted my daughter to come out with me instead. I just feel so strange now about my dad as a grandfather. Why is he like this?

we r getting married very soon, but im afraid to tell him about my past bc i dont want to feel vulnerable and i dont want him to think less of me. well, i grew up in an orphanage and i lived with an abusive alcoholic step father for 6 years. i also was abandoned by my father. im afraid to tell him those things since he thinks very highly of me. am a very nice person and i never let those past experiences change me, but i dont want to feel like i have lost my respect..

I got a voicemail from my other half on the phone saying "its an emergency, call me back ASAP." So I was on my way to a meeting and I stopped went back to my desk and called him and he says "my brother got arrested and he is facing 3 felony charges". I talked to him about it and before I hung up I said I wish you wouldn't have said it was an emergency and before I could even finish saying "because I thought our son, his daughter, him or someone was hurt" he started yelling at me and saying it is important and all kinds of stuff and then hung up on me. I text him saying don't be mad I was just saying I thought someone was injured and it wasn't really an emergency and it scared me. I said I couldn't do anything about his brother being in jail. He sent me back that all his family is important and that I never should have said that and I didn't have any idea how pissed he was. So at my break when I could talk I tried to call him twice and he wouldn't answer then at lunch I tried to...
