She is turning 20. She is a vocalist in a rockband. She loves to read all charles dickens, JD Salinger, Ernest Hemingway, and other such authors. All classics.
She loves all kinds of music esp. death cab.
Loves Urban Outfitters, American Apparall.
I don't want to get her clothes and jewelry like every other year.
What should I get her?

I went to a party a few years ago and the birthday 'boy' had a special gift, I thought. His family found out what the news headlines were from our city newspaper on the day/year he was born, and had the front page printed and enlarged. They laminated it and displayed it near all the food. Of course, he took it home with him.
Maybe you could do something like that for your sister, too, along with anything else you might want to give her.
When I was 20 I liked makeup, makeup and more makeup, but that's just me.:)
