My husband loves his mother very much but now that we are older he is even finding her hard to deal with. She watches his brother and sister's kids, and visits them but not us. When we visit her she asks to busy and some how his dad ends up upset with us.I use to talk to her everyday and then she got a job and my mom and I mended the troubles we had. but I care very much for her, she never calls and I try to pick good times when she should be able to talk, she always rushes off the phone with me saying she has to go cause she has work to do or she has another call, not to mention she is starting to have his 10 year old sister answer the phone or call me back and ask me what I wanted. the last time she came to my house was to have me babysit his sister for her so she could work.I am a saty at home mom and I just had baby 7 months ago , so this is hard for me but has been happening almost a 2 years.My husband doesn't call his mom much cause he works away alot and barely gets alot of time

i thot u were sposed to get ur first kiss when u were older. my cousin always is maeking me play the "no pants game" and its not fun. why would u kiss that i dont get it? he says its a secret gaem but i think its ok to ask on yaho. when did u start playing this game and do u still play. i hope i dont have to play 4 a long time more.

they are getting into trouble all of a sudden and without any warning...they are good girls i wont lie whos kid isnt a good kids,but i need some serious advice on how to do this right with out blowing up and as a single mom i need all the advice i can get.

recently I left my mother's house because we wern't getting along. I am with my dad now and everything is going fine. my mom and brother and sister are going no vacation to CA. should i go with them, because they asked me to, or stay with my dad? I am confused because if i go i will be giving in to my mom.

Background info: My boyfriend has a 7 year old son with his ex. He works full time at an ok job: low pay, but good benefits. His Ex (we'll call her "miss x") lives off a trust fund and doesn't have to work. He gets $400 towards child care from his work, but gives half to ex (so he pays for her weeks at the day care too). Problem is, we both have to work Sundays, when the day care is not open, and the $400 is already used up during the weekly childcare. So he has to pay for a nanny out of his own pocket on his Sundays. I think he should use his benefits for HIMSELF (since she doesn't have to work anyway) and give her what's left after he's paid for his childcare needs, including Sunday. What do you think?

im an artist who in the last 4 years has been nominated twice for a grammy,also i have won other awards because of my singing,iv been married for about ten yrs ,recently my wife has been complaining about not being able to come with me on some of my concerts because of finances,also she says that if she cant go then no one goes,out of respect for her and the fact that i dont want to upset her ,i have stopped doing shows,needless to say our finances have suffered because of it ,so i took a job at a school for troubled teens,i really enjoyed this job until my wife phoned my boss [who is female]and accussed her of having a affair with me ,as i sat there my boss handed me the phone and said ''i think its for you ''.i lost my job but got another at another school where she did the same thing ,so again i find myself unemployed,i love my family but i feel like this is not an equal partnership.im also finding that my wife confides in her family and not me,ps...i have never been unfaithful

Two years ago my nephew was a perfect little angel. Now he's 14 barely goes to school he drinks I think he smokes pot. I track all the stuff he does via the bebo website. Thats the other thing he's stupid. Why would he put down everything he does there when he's the one that told me about the website. His mum lets him do what he wants to avoid conflict. Is anyone else going through this? I have a 9 month old and I'm not looking forward to the teenage years. What have others done to avoid these problems?

why am i the least favored kid in the family?
every time i want to go visit my 24 year old sister i always get squeezed out of the plan so that i don't get to go.

one time my brother went to the mall with his friends and got his ears pierced and his hair died. when he came home my mom said she was proud of him for making grown up decisions. when i asked if i could do the same, my mom went ballistic. (it wouold be maybe a once in a year thing if I could go to the mall as a tag along...

I'm just tired of hearing my brothers and sisters hearing: "you did a good job." or, : " I'm so proud of you!"
as when i do the same thing i get into trouble. what should i do?

Hi, i am a school student. I have straight A's in school, am part of some school organizations and got almost a 2000 when I first took the PSAT and above a 1900 when I took a practice SAT. After I come home from school I start studying at around 5 pm and go all the way to around 12 am or 1 am or 2 am. However, my parents are still not satisfied. EVerytime I do something for fun they say "You're not studying". My Dad says its not the total score for the SAT that counts and that although my essays are good so I get most points from them I need to work REAL hard on my critical reading and math section. But I tell him, I DO work alot, most of my friends got REALLY low when they first took the SAT and I've got to work little to bring it a little up. But still they say "You dont work hard enough." I love music and play guitar in local concerts on weekends. They hint for me to give it up. I dont understand. I tried to tell them but they dont either. What should I do?

This is not necessarily a question; more of a gripe. My daughter is 15 years old. During those 15 years, I have never collected a welfare check. I have always worked. I have also never collected steady child support from her father. He is $7000 in arrears. About a year ago, my employment ended to the store closing. I had the opportunity to go back to school to finish my social work degree. So, I am now receiving a TANF check while finishing my degree. About a week ago, her father was feeling gracious and put $100 on my case. However, I never received it. It went to the state since I am on public assistance. Despite him being in arrears and me never being on welfare, they still took that payment. What about all those years that I worked and paid taxes? It is just frustrating.

Ok. So I'm babysitting this kid right. My family and I are filipino (asian) and I'm babysitting an American (white) kid. *Don't get me wrong I'm not racist.*
I just wanna know what to feed him. My grandma seems to be a babysitting expert because she tells me all the time that the kids we babysit are supposed to bring their own food. I say otherwise. I say it's ok to feed him our food but now I have a different mindset. He eats ALOT. I think he finishd our huge bag of chips we bought from a wholesale club. Now he wants some of our snacks that me and my brother eats, he opens the pantry like it's his house, also the fridge. I'm usually a nice person, but it's hard to say yes and no. Like I don't know when's the right time to say 'no, you can't eat that.' Keep in mind, he's here from 2:45pm to 5:00pm. What should I do? Is it right that I should keep feeding him our food or should I consult his mother in bringing him snacks (I talked to the kid and he said his mom don't pack snacks.

I understand that smoking is really addicting, but what I don't understand is why my dad won't even try to quit. Especially because my mom died from lung cancer (caused by smoking). If he really loved me, he'd quit; wouldn’t he?

My family hates me,my grandpa treats me horribly he hates me cause I resemble my mother whom he resents for marrying his son, my dad.No one sticks up for me when he bashes on me constantly.He refers to me as an "it" and says hurtful things all the time.They all prefer my brother over me, my brother dropped out of high school at 16 and now has been working a dead end job at a local Jack in the Box. I graduated high school with a's and b's and will be taking classes for college online( I hope to be an architect someday) while living with my husband who's in military and taking care of my daughter. I have a 1 and a half year old baby girl and a new baby on the way, my grandparents write to my daughter and send her packages and stuff. I don't want them to have anything to do with her or my new baby, what do I do? Despite my requests to stop correspondence they continue to write to my daughter and frankly I am tired of it. I don't want to hear from them EVER again, help.

My dad gets drunk and becomes very angry and abusive. Not really towards us girls (his daughters) but My brother and him do get into fist fights quite often and my dad beats up his girlfriend's SEVERLY. That is why my mother left him after 22 years and that is why his current girlfriend left him. We can't sit him down and have a serious conversation with him and tell him we are worried about him or afraid of him because then he will get angry again and blame it on us or tell us he is going to kill our animals or he will tell us to get out. What should I do with this situation. He is making everyone's life HELL. Thanks.

I been having a hard time with this person, she reachme after 2 years and 1/2 since we cut any kind of comunication with her...she said that she wants to start all over again and forget about the pass, she betrayedme in the pass , and , made up rummors about me also put half of the family againts me. just with her lies, now I am very confused, because even if we start all over again I am very mad that my relationship with the rest of the other familiy menbers is ruined because of her ...what iam trying to say is that even if we try to fix things the 2 of us the damage she made is bigger that that, and is kind of late I don't know what to do, I just don't know if I should give her a second chance. when she was out of my file I feel so relieve and in peace , and now she wants to be part of our lives again , she is my mother in law. my husband doesnt want to have anything to do with her , because he is even more hurt than me, he said is up to me if we include her in our lives again

what would you do if you were a teenager with an overcontrolling mom, and step dad. Sereously, i'm not talking about not letttin you use a cell phone and ect. I mean like not even letting me talk to my own family. Not my sisters, dad or brother. Plus i can rarely go out, and my own mom jacks my money. I'm really thinkin bout running away.
