I guess it depends on how much of a big deal it will be to her. If it will totally devastate her then perhaps you should get someone else to do your taxes and keep it a secret.

Some would argue that she is your mother and you should tell her. If you tell her is it going to change lives or is it something she can handle and eventually accept?

I'm a great believer in being honest as long as it doesn't create a trail of destruction.

Hope this helps :)

Let her find out how much you make - first I am sure it is a tidy sum

Then if your a chicken send her a note and give her a day or two to beat on the cupboards

Or just take her to lunch and say Uh mum guess what ?

It doesn't much matter if you are determined to tell her it's goona hurt

If you decide it's none of her business then it's time to find another ta accountant isn't it ?

To be honest there will never be an easy way to tell your mother about what you do. If you are really worried I would just say tell her over the phone or in a public place (unless she doesnt care about being loud in the public then I wouldnt advice this.) Your going to have to just be upfront with her and tell her. There is not easy way to go about it. Just make sure that your ready for a reaction from her because as a mother they are going to want the best for their child and Im sure this wasnt an idea of hers for you. Just take it slow and consistantly tell her that you love and want her to still love you no matter the situation or choices you make. I hope I was somewhat helpful.

A) Don't let mom do your taxes, apparently you're a big girl now anyway. and 2) If you DO let her do them, get her a nice gift. Maybe it'll distract her.

Why would you make a choice that you're not proud of? Life is too short. If you make a decision to be in the adult business. Be adult enough to come to terms with it and be honest to those around you.

Tell her there is no two ways of telling something to someone. You should have think of it first before getting into any adult business don't you think. Tell her may be she will understand or may be not. But one thing is sure you will always be her child that what matters. Good luck

Well you can say Mom what profession would you be the very proudest of me with? ......Then say now Mom what profession would make you squirm with embarrassment? Now tell her Mom what profession can you imagine most women get killed maimed humiliated used and abused....then say yep thats me right there I am in that business MOM I assume you are a woman..if not then you can say Mom I am a gigalo, a pimp or a respectable toyboy to all. And watch her face turn to a wonderful smile and say i am so happy for you dear. NOT Have some respect for your poor mother. How humiliated do you want to make her?Get another person to do your taxes. Your poor mother. How selfish of you to tell her that. I would want to kill my daughter!
