My father is turning 53. He is difficult to buy for because he doesn't really NEED anything and won't tell you even if he did. I'm 26 and I have a 15 month old girl that he loves. Any ideas on a gift I could make that has something to do with pictures of my little girl? I don't want to do just a plain photo album, something a little more detailed maybe.. And yes, my father is a wicked sap when it comes to her, so I'm not worried about the gift not being manly enough!! Thanks in advance for any ideas!

I'm in charge of all her finances but from time to time about 5-6 times a week I use the money for my own personal things. Sometimes I put a little back in. She's not to bright, but has asked where all her money is going. I just tell her bills. What does it hurt? She's lucky she has any money at all.

My brother is 33, and is visiting my husband and me. We are trying to get him a job in our town, my mother (63, grade 1 school teacher), phoned last night and said he must come home. She's alone and misses him. My father passed away 8years ago. I told her he must think of his future, and there are no jobs in their small town. She said, she doesn't care, she's alone and wants him home. What can I tell her so she can realise how neccesary it is for him to work. I stay in South Africa. He says he wants to take the bus home? Please help?

My folks got divorced before i had hit primary school I had lived with my dad & somtimes went to my mom. My dad had gotten married & in came my step mom & her 3kids.Not that i minded.

Everytime my dad & i used to have 'our time' 1ce a day for an hour or so or whenever we had free time together she would get insanely jealous but wont show it.We both picked this up.

On weekeds my dad & i play tennis together on sat mornings,so do my younger step brother & sisters, she refuses to play. She hates it when i go on trips with my dad when he has work & does not like the idea of my dad giving me a sports ca for my 21st birthday, with a major party & a world tour of just the 2of us.

We have spoken to her about it,she is in denail. What do we do? What do i do? or is this just all to much for her to handel??

They have only been married for three years & this has been happening for about a year or 2

My wife travels in her job. Her daughter is 25 and is currently living with us. She works a fulltime job etc. Everynight when we all go to bed, she closes her door to her bedroom.

The last 2 trips my wife has been out of town, the daughter leaves her bedroom door wide open.

My bedroom is directly across the hall, and i don't know but it's just wierd that she only does this when her mother is out of town.

am i just being reading to much into this.

Okay, here is the whole situation...
My parents got divorced when I was 15 years old, due to my dads infadelity and my moms resulting alcoholism. I chose to live with my dad. My mom filed for divorce the day we moved away. My mom got behind on her child support payments. By oklahoma(which is where they were divorced) law, Child support ends when the child turns 18. I am now 19, married with my own child, and my mom is still having to pay my dad, because he thinks she owes him. Last June my dad had me sign a document, after he told me that it would end my moms payment. Immediately after, my mom told me she got a letter stating that she still owed $2000. My mom and I have both done the math, and she should have been done when i signed that document. My mom filed an appeal, and now she got a letter saying that her appeal was suspended and the case was reopened in Nebraska. I feel my mom is being taken advantage of and i need to know how to stand up to him since my mom is afraid to.

My sister has been off and on with a guy for about 5 years. When she's off with him she is with all kinds of other men. But the problem is, when she is off with him, he comes to me. I am a married woman and he has on more then one occasion tried to sleep with me and tells me he's in love with me. MY SISTER KNOWS ALL THIS! Well, they have now been ON for about 6 months and for the second time they are engaged. They are getting married!!! I feel hurt by this. Why should she marry him knowing that he doesn't respect me or truly love her. It hurts me. I am not one to judge other people or not support my family but this is really bothering me. How should I feel??

I have a real problem with some of my friends. I have been friends with them for a very long time, but the past few years I have been the only one being the friend. I always have to call them if I want to talk to them. I understand we have our own lives and live a few hours away but they always want to act like we are still the best of friends. They always want to talk about themselves and their problems, and I can't ever get a word in edge wise. It makes me really sad that the people that I thought were my best friends are too involved with their own lives to pick up the phone and call someone they claim to care so much about. Even though I love them and miss them I want to say to hell with them at the same time. I don't know, what should I do?

I'll be 26 years in 4 months, I work and they still tell me what do do, where & when to come home, etc. I know I stay under their roof and I ought to respect them, especially as I'm not done with school yet and they pay for my fees. But when I do anything contrary to their thoughts or decisions I'm disobedient & stuborn. They complain when I come home late which is not even everyday, and is usually 9pm at most! Yesterday I was home by 8pm and my mom knows I was from my BF's place, and she says he wont respect me cause we see everyday, I'm ruining myself and all that, is that true? They treat me like I'm still a child! I can't even sit comfortably in the house with my BF so I'd rather stay at his place to rest. Already they've made some decisions for me and they didnt work... and other times I unconsciously went in the opposite direction & did the wrong things . How can I let them know that I love them but I'd like to do some things on my own and make my own decision sometimes?

What the hell can I do about my 2 brothers. They have this thing with stealing and going through my things EVERYDAY when im at work. One of them is 15 and the other is 10. I have bought several doorknobs for my door because they are busting them while breaking into my room. I have replaced the piece of trim for the door many many times because they are prying it off to get in there. I have yelled, Screamed, Left notes, Trashed their room, Everything!! And yet both of them deny it and blame one another. My dad is lazy he sits on the computer all day when he gets home from work. I have asked him to deal with it several times and he blows it off. What can I do?
