For a long while my wife always referred to me as sir or even master at times but now she seems to think its okay not to address me as all honorable men should be addressed. I have talked to her about this and even grounded her to the room but she still seems a little troubled at this. Any of you guys ahve this problem?

My relationship with my mother is estranged. I've accepted that it will not change, she is who she is. All efforts have been tried to make/ have a relationship, it is not healthy to keep.
Want to hear from anyone who has had similar life experience and the parent is aging and or has died. How have you dealt with that? What advise would you have for someone like me?

My son starts high school this year, and Im worried about him getting involved with gangs, drugs etc, so I bought a small 10 foot boat and motor, and I know he loves fishing and camping so I will take him into the great outdoors on weekends (or whenever he wants to) and hopefully this will help keep him away from negative elements, what do you think??????

Recently I started throwing food at my family. It's not that I don't like them it's just that sometimes my daughter makes whipped potatos and there are still chunks of potatos mixed in. It's probably that deadbeat husband of hers putting in those chunks of potatos. I told her when she got married he was nothing but bad news and all they do is talk talk talk during my soap operas. Ok, someone please help me! My sister in law drives me absolutely out of my mind! She always had to be the first and the best, I can handle that, or ignore that I should say, but the other day I found out she went to my boss (they're old friends) and asked her all about me, what I was like at work, if I had any friends (guess she can't believe I do because I'm such a snot to her all the time), if I do my job correctly, etc. WTF! My boss came up to me and asked "what's up with -----? and then told me the things she said. She also is sticking her nose in the middle of a nasty divorce (mutual friends of ours) and taking sides with the husband, all well and good, but she's telling the guy he should demand a paternity test because she knows for a fact that 2 of "his" kids aren't his...I know, that doesn't involve me, but that's the kind of stuff she does. What the heck is wrong with her???

I live with my boyfriend and I am very happy being there. I go visit my family on the holidays and on their birthdays, but I can't stand my parents. Every time I visit, I get into an argument or a fight with them. It makes me not even want to go to their house anymore. Their are only three people at my parents house that I like to visit. They are my sister, my nephew, and my brother. My sister should be getting her own house soon, so I will be able to visit her and my nephew without having to go to my parents house. That is great, but what about my brother. He will still live with my parents. The only way I will be able to see him is if I go to my parents house. I can't just not visit him. He is the most important person in the world to me. He is only 7 years old. I am the only one that took care of him from the day he was born until he was 6 and1/2. He is like my son to me. I love him a lot. My parents won't let him come to my house. The only way to see him is to visit my parents.

She is an only child at her mother's house and is not at ours. I have tried everything, but nothing works. My husband thinks I'm too hard on her because she is in a divorce so she should get to do and say what she wants when she comes. I don't let my children do it then she shouldn't be able to do it.

My 15 & 18 yr old daughters get mad at me and won't talk to me for weeks on end; they belittle me to their friends; have made remarks like "I don't need you in my life" and "guilt trip queen" when I try to communicate how I feel. They went to live with their father and don't visit me and stand me up on holidays. I am married to a wonderful woman, she has three boys but the youngest is 7 he is spoil rotten. His bedtime is 9pm but he stays up to 10 or 1030 talking to the mom. He goes into a baby voice when she gets mad and does not get his way. He rude and disrespectful to his older brothers. He wanted his cousins to come over last weekend and would not let them in his room and told them they could not play with his toys. So they really had nothing to do. He then wanted to go play with his friends all day up the street and had nothing to do with his cousins. He cried when they suggested to play other games and did not want to play what he wanted? I am in college studying to be a early childhood educator. I live with my parents who are crazy. My stepdad has an alcohol problem and likes to argue. My mother does nothing. Neither of them appreciate the fact that I am going to college and are very unsupportive. I have a part time job and I go to school but this is not enough for them. I don't make enough money to afford a place of my own and my studies prevent me from working a full time job. I do not have enough money to live on campus. I can't take out anymore loans. How am I supposed to deal with this hell?

I'll be 36 and we are really tight on money but I still would like some ideas that would be nice to do? We don't drink or go to bars and it'll probably be a family thing with our 4 kids.
The thing is, is I would like it to be special cause my husband will be going to Iraq for a year with the US Army in May and he will miss our 18th wedding anniversary in September and then my next birthday in '08.

My whole life my mother was a substance abuser and I got taken away from her at the age of 8 with lots and lots of bad memories. I lived with my grandparents till 16. Well about 5 years ago my mother got into a car accident and is now about the age of my 7 year old(brain injury) No shes not a mother figure and No she cant have an adult conversation but I really do feel in my heart that it was the best thing that happened to her. She doesnt do drugs,smoke or even drink anymore.When she was in the accident she was J walking across the street to a known dealers house. She got hit and I was told she wouldnt make it(didnt have a chance) they asked me if I wanted to pull the plug and I didnt and now look she's a living miracle. She now loves life, her family and grandchildren something that wasnt known before the accident because of her actions. She needs some help to do certain stuff but she is happy in whatever she does. Am I wrong for feeling like this was the best thing to happen to her?

I was dating some guy named Jose Rodriguez. I loved him but he did things that were really stupid! I was wit my friends and when i saw him coming i grabed my friends hand and walk away from him then my friends told me things like "why do u keep walkin away from him" and the things he did was that got me mad was. He was in science class and him and his friends were lookin at some pix of girls and that teacher told me and it got me pissed. He wonders why i walk away from him wat a little Turd .He dosnt even let me hang out with my guy friends. with out getting jelouse!!Then he tells my friend to tell me to talk to him but i say "no" and he got mad because i ran so,and hung out with my guy friends he diecide to break up with me. then he asked me back out and i took him back.and a few months later he broke up with me again and asked me out again .how stupid !!! but me being so in love with him took him back again. now he broke up with me but wants me back what should i do
