Recently I started throwing food at my family. It's not that I don't like them it's just that sometimes my daughter makes whipped potatos and there are still chunks of potatos mixed in. It's probably that deadbeat husband of hers putting in those chunks of potatos. I told her when she got married he was nothing but bad news and all they do is talk talk talk during my soap operas. Where can I find a pair of good, quality headphones?

My God woman, here your daughter cooks for you and you insult her and throw her food, and then you also insult her husband. You sound like the mother in law from hell. Do not want to sound mean to you, but you should not take advantage of your family this way, it is totally bossy and controlling. If for some reason your behaviour is for mental or physical reasons that need special care and your family is not able to take care of you, then yes indeed your doctor can put you into a nursing home. At the rate you are not earning points with your daughter and her husband better start packing soon. Please know that I am telling you this wo wake you up to reality and make you see what you are doing to yourself and your loved ones. Really my very best to you! By the way, you can buy some real good headphones from Best Buy!

You do need help if your question is not a joke. Your doctor can force you into a nursing home if you are in a hospital, that is, he/she can refuse to release you to your home. Do you recognize hat you are not behaving normally? It sounds like you have a behavioral disorder that can be a stage in dementia or alzheimers.
HERE ARE A COUPLE OF EXERPTS FROM AN ARTICAL ON EPILEPSY DRUGS TO HELP AGITATION IN ALZHEIMERS, AND WHY THESE PATIENTS GO TO NURSING HOMES.

"The behavioral disturbances wear care givers down and are one of the main reasons that patients are admitted to acute and long-term care institutions," says Porsteinsson. "People don't put their husbands or mothers in nursing homes because they are forgetful; they're put in a nursing home because they are a danger to themselves or others, or because they're unbearably hostile or aggressive. This type of medicine alleviates those symptoms for many patients in a population that is a bear to treat."

Nurses measured behaviors like tension, hostility, and aggression -- screaming and yelling, hitting or spitting at care givers, verbally abusing them, throwing things, pacing, and other inappropriate actions.

I don't see any reason for a nursing home just maybe better behavior. you should be supportive to your daughter even if you don't like him!

No - but your daughter can sign you in one - if she can prove that you are unable to take care of yourself - be nice to the ones that decide your future!@~
