I'll be 36 and we are really tight on money but I still would like some ideas that would be nice to do? We don't drink or go to bars and it'll probably be a family thing with our 4 kids.
The thing is, is I would like it to be special cause my husband will be going to Iraq for a year with the US Army in May and he will miss our 18th wedding anniversary in September and then my next birthday in '08.
Thanks

maybe you should have an anniversary/birthday party, make a nice dinner with your kids, & have it by candlelight. and then watch a movie together, i sugest "elf" or soemthign fun like that! and make sure u eat lots of popcorn, and throw soem @ ur sweetie too! haha! ♥ & then when the kids are sleeping, but rose petals on ur bed and have soem cheese cake with ur honey, and what u do after that is none of my busines!! haha *blushes*

You can start the day out early and do something fun that the kids like to do. (I know it the cold season but like going to the park and playing soccer. Or what ever you family is into.) You all can make a cake together(kid like things like that) and have a picnic, if it's cold move the furniture and do it on the floor.

Then later if you have any nice friend or family that will watch the kid for free(i know i would) you and your hisband could go out to eat(does not have to be exspencive) and then have a little fun. You can make that part a combined birthday and anniversary celibration.

How about make a home page for your family, and you can take many pictures for your birthday tomorrow, list the pictures in the family homepage. It'll be fun activity you can do with your kids, your husband can see the homepage while his away. Cost nothing if you have digital camera. If you don't, you can borrow from friends or can buy portable digital camera, too.

I'll wish the best for you, your hubby, and your family, also I'll pray for your husband and all the troupes.
