Super close ... my family is everything to me ... everyone lives in the same town ... grandparents ... aunts uncles ... cousins brothers ... etc ... we play sports together - go to the same schools ... have the same family friends growing up ... it's great I couldn't imagine life without my family ... " Team S******* " ... we have it tattooed on us ... Team and our last name ... it's something me and my cousin's came up with ... it's funny since the older generation said over our dead bodies will we ever get tattooed and when we all came back with ours ... they wanted one too ... lol ... !

I have nine brothers and sisters. One brother died many years ago. I believe only my mother kept the family together. My father died 15 years ago and my mom was the only person we all had in common. We all live all over Canada and the only reason to see each other is at funerals and weddings. Once my mom passed away we just scattered and don't bother to make the effort any more. I am in touch regularly with one sister and one brother. I never hear from the rest. One brother I have not seen or heard from since 1973. I guess you could say we are not a close family.

My husband and I are very close with both sides or our family. We visit my parents just about every Sunday for lunch and we regularly go out to his parents. Sometimes spend a couple nights with his sister and her family, just camp out at mom and dad's. It's great. We have a lot of fun playing with our neices and nephews. Family is very important to me because I always grew up around my family, cousins and took care of my grandmother after my grandpa passed.

I wouldnt say real close, but im not distant either, im kind of in the middle, like i dont really feel comfortable telling my family stuff about my life and things liek that and they barely ask me. but i think that having ur family around is really importnat.
