My Daughter dad is calling my best friend to find about his Daughter.So he calls her once a month to find out.His phone don't work half the time I guess he has a pay as you go phone and don't kept up with the MIn. I want none thing to do with him.He wants me to have the # and I told her to tell him that I don't want it. He is not a good father for my Daughter. I have friends that are better to her than her own dad. My daughter is asking about her Dad and I tell her I don't know were he is. What should i be telling her. She sometime call other people Dad and they are not. I more happy without him being around and I don't have to have my daughter lie about being around her Dad. He drinks around her sometime but puts it into a cup so she don't know what it is. Then he acts dumb.She has a Dad figure that is her Grandpa. She don't need anyone else.I live with my parents and had to go to part time job because of him.I had a full time job that I love and had to give it up because of babysat

actually everyone has told me to move out cuz of my psycho mother inlaw but he wont leave his mom and if i leaveshe will be the happest person alive and i hate her way too much to make her happy after all the torture shes put me through mentally and personally. the only torture she has from me is my beging around her son so if i leave him shes getting what she planned. see she has to work for her to torture me but all i have to do is be there and she goes psycho. i love my husband i wont leave him cause of her but....does anyone know why shes doing this man!!!!!!!!!!!! what did i do im mad quiet and shy i dont argue even while she insults me only cus she will add lies to what i say so i never know how to handle the situation. why does she lie to him about things i never do just to see us fight and stop speaking then she gets so happy she freaken dances and sings out loud when she sees we're speaking she daily sits him down and tells him crap lies about s&& i never have done to piss him

My cousin and I have been close ever since we were little. We are about 5 years apart age wise. She's 14 and I'm now 19. As of late she's been kinda withdrawing from the family and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Her parents and my grandma have been fighting (we are second cousins and her mother says that our grandma treats me better than her(the mom) (.. thats the main problem). I see her about once every 5 months now (I usually have my uncle come pick me up and we go over to her house), and we don't even talk. I try to say "hi" now and then... via myspace or facebook, and she won't even respond, yet she responds to all her other friends/relatives?

She's very rude when I try to IM her and start a conversation.. and I'm fearing that between the fighting in the family and her "cool" friends (they're the popular clique who like to get drunk and cause trouble late at night/sneaking out) she's going to get in trouble... what can I do? Talking doesn't get us anywhere.

Me and my boyfriend have been together this time for a little over 18 mo, we now have a 4 mo old son together. Problem we live with his mom and she is crazy....seriously. She is controling and will not do anything herself she will not go to the store to the bank. she sits at home and does absolutely nothing all day. we pay her rent and pay for food in the house and she complains about everything. its disgusting she waits untill by boyfriend to get home from work after a 10 hour day and wants him to run around the city for her. it makes me so mad and he just goes along with it. She even had the nerve to say she needed him to take care of her for another 20 years untill she can get her ssi retirement check. I thought that was completly rude. she is a middle aged woman but acts caty like a 16year old. she says rude things to me and about me on PURPOSE just to make me mad and i know i should not give into it but i wish she would grow the f@@@ up.

i am 14 years old, i am yelled at constantly, told i will never amount to anything, completely ignored when i accomplish something, and my dad is making me get a job. this started when my mom died in august of '05, and its nonstop, constant, degrading, i dont remember a night since then that i havent cried myself to sleep.... is this emotional abuse or am i just being overly sensitive?

Ok, so many times I offend others when I mean good, they take things offensively. My sister is a nice person. For the past 57 years, she is offended with most I say to her. I try to complement her and she gets mad. I do not want to start arguing over the issue because we are family. So, any ideas on how I should avoid offending her?

I have a sister that is 16, and 7 years younger than me...and I can't defend myself when we have an argument. It makes me feel helpless. She will say anything, and do anything to get her way and other peoples feelings just don't matter to her at all. Tonight she spent over 30 minutes begging me for a cigarette and when she started to realize she wasn't going to get one she started a fight. I get so that I can't stop swallowing, I can't find words, my ears turn red, and I sometimes faint...this is for all arguments in general. I guess I'm looking for how to stand up for myself when I can't even get a point across. How can I learn to fight back and get over whatever causes me to freak out so badly when i get into an argument? People have told me it takes practice, but in this family I get a LOT of that and I never seem to be any more capable of dealing with it and defending myself.

my mom became really distant when i turned 12 or so, I grew up without guidance, wihtout much affection & on top of this she was pretty manipulative. My home felt like a cardborad box, it felt cold, and also uncomforable cause I had to deal with mom and my sister.
I left my home feeling empty, Ive tried to talk things with mom to reconcile but she is in denial. Ive had to distance myself cause Ive realized she is not going to change.
Ive been offered some help by a couple of women who want to give me some guidance and afection and wonder if this people could help me get some of the parenting I didnt get.
And I wonder if I will ever feel joyful again cause my mom pretty much broke my heart.

I live with my bro, but he is pissing me off. He makes fun of my friends and thinks he's better than me. We also have a lot of communial friends... my mother skips work a few days a month because of "depression" as she calls it. all she wants to do is smoke cigarettes and sleep, sometimes she'll sleep all weekend and get nothing done. i think a part of this has to do with my father that cheats on her without caring if she knows. she says it doesn't bother her and she tells me it's none of my concern. she also has this thing with thinking she's mentally depressed, like she has a natural chemical imbalance. i try telling her that it's how she lives her life instead of a natural cause of depression, but she won't have it. she's obsessed with telling herself that she needs different anti-depressants because she's unhappy and whenever i come over to keep her company, she just sits there and seems bored. i don't know what to do to help her. does she need a hobby? what should i suggest? is there a way to make her stop thinking that how she feels will be cured by pills?

First I will start off with the very basic of information. I'm 18 and the sister I am referring to is 17. I put addiction in quotes because I'm not entirely sure if most people would consider it an addiction. Our father that we live with is an alcoholic and always has been.

Ok, for starters most people would consider my sister odd. She is VERY intelligent in terms of booksmart. She's ranked Top Person in her class of 104. I would say she is OCD, but I guess others just say anal. She will literally be sick over wrinkled papers. Everything has to be perfect and she's VERY VERY organized.

To me, she always seems to be addicted to odd things. She always has cough drops to suck on, will not sleep unless she has a fan blowing in her face just to name two of the odd things.

On New Year's Eve, we had a family party and my cousin made rum punch. My sister was drinking a ton of alcohol that night. I mentioned it and she told me to stop. Now I know she's been drinking it more.

Growing up my father was distant. He is an alcoholic, he was verbaly and emotionally abusive to me my sister and my mother(he loves my brother) He once told me he didnt love me and i said i wasnt worth his time. He ruined my mothers self esteem and did the same to my sister. He has remarried and seems to be a better man now (from what i hear... we dont really talk) He got married in australia and bought my brother a ticket but no one else. I would love to have a relationship with my father, but i dont forgive too easy. I would really like to get over this and move on with my life, i dont like feeling angry, any suggestions on how to help me open up?
