Me and my boyfriend have been together this time for a little over 18 mo, we now have a 4 mo old son together. Problem we live with his mom and she is crazy....seriously. She is controling and will not do anything herself she will not go to the store to the bank. she sits at home and does absolutely nothing all day. we pay her rent and pay for food in the house and she complains about everything. its disgusting she waits untill by boyfriend to get home from work after a 10 hour day and wants him to run around the city for her. it makes me so mad and he just goes along with it. She even had the nerve to say she needed him to take care of her for another 20 years untill she can get her ssi retirement check. I thought that was completly rude. she is a middle aged woman but acts caty like a 16year old. she says rude things to me and about me on PURPOSE just to make me mad and i know i should not give into it but i wish she would grow the f@@@ up.

Tell your man that he needs to make a decision. You and the baby, or his mother!!! The answer should be obvious. Tell him that you are looking for a place for the 3 of you and if won't come with you, tell him that instead of paying his mother til she gets her SSI,(Which us working Americans have to pay for) He is going to be paying for child support.

If you can pay her rent, you can afford your own place.

Dont let her badger you in to staying, screw it! Its your life, your family.... she's an adult, she can take care of herself... you're a new mom and you and your bf need to spend time together with your baby not with a freakshow in the background.

Good luck girl, start packing...

Get the HL away from her! She sounds like a mean old cow.If her bf wants to stay and put up with that, it's his problem not yours. he must like it that's all I can say. You obviously don't like it so as others have suggested, move. Now. Tomorrow. ASAP!!!

'but he goes along with it"

You are living in her house. Her son caters to her. Sorry, but you might as well accept your fate. It's not your house and not your mother.

If her son won't stand up to her, then you might as well learn to accept her the way she is or move out

Move out and your b/f needs to decide who's more important to him..you and his son or his mother. His actions will tell you what you need to know.

You take your husband (if he's not he should be if only fo rthe kid's sake) and your kid and move out, if you can pay her rent you can pay YOUR rent! Take care of your family, let her take care of herself. She is NOT your problem... your child and your family is.
