Mother:she is the one only...You are born by one mother only.
Wife:she is not one any only, because you can have another wife if you want but you cant have another mother.
Child:is not the one and only, you can another child if you want.

Interesting question, and my answer would have to depend on several factors. Who to rescue or save first? It's like Superman's dillema... Lois or Ma&Pa Kent?

It's easiest to assume that the child has the most to live for. And yet, younger people can survive longer without than older folks can. It also depends on the person's general health, and even on obesity. If the kid is overweight, he/she can hold out much longer than a skinny and frail mother, because of stored body fat. If Mom is fat, she can probably last longer than the kid. It also depends on the age of the parties, which isn't mentioned here. Obviously, a very young child or baby is going to need more nourishment than a teenager. Then there's another factor you could look at. Perhaps there's a task requiring some effort and strength, that could save everyone, and you are the strongest person in the group. Wouldn't it be logical -and unselfish- for you to eat that food yourself and then, with renewed strength, save everyone?

It's like the stranded people forced to resort to canniblalism to survive. It's easy to judge others if you're not actually there. Like being a fireman...Should you rush in to save someone, knowing they are already burned badly and the building is about to collapse?

Tough call, and sometimes being a hero isn't as easy as we may think on first glance. We have time, sitting at our computers, to think these things through. On the scene, those decisions must be made quickly, and under trying circumstances.

MY child.
The child needs to have a chance at life, just as you older ones have.
If you are a dad then you 'should' already know who should get the food.

If I had children, my child. I would have to say my mother, because I'm not married and I don't have children.
