I'm guessing that you are having to look after your brothers while your parents work. It's great that you are helping out and that you have such a good attitude about it. However, at this time in your life friends are important too. It's important that you talk to your mom and dad about this. Sometimes it helps when presenting a problem to offer a solution as well. For example, if you would like to attend a basketball game after school offer to find someone reliable to watch your brothers for a couple of hours for a reasonable price. And, as long as your friends understand you have responsibilities at home, why can't your friends come over and visit?

In any event, discuss the situation with your parents calmly letting them know your needs without getting too emotional. If you can do that you're halfway to getting what you want!

I dont understand exactly what you are asking. Your parents work because they want to provide for you the best life they can. Appreciate them and help out as much as you can. If you want more time with your mates then spend more time with them. It does sound to me like you are already spending enough time with them. Ask anyone in their 20's and up how many friends they still know from when they were 16, 17.... I doubt they will still see many. Your family are always going to be there for you. Unfortunately many things are not appreciated until they are gone...including people. Your friends are an important part of your adolescent life but they are not everything. Your family are a part of everything.

I would let them know. Can you get involved with sports church gatherings. Once you start meeting others you should feel better.
