My folks got divorced before i had hit primary school I had lived with my dad & somtimes went to my mom. My dad had gotten married & in came my step mom & her 3kids.Not that i minded.
Everytime my dad & i used to have 'our time' 1ce a day for an hour or so or whenever we had free time together she would get insanely jealous but wont show it.We both picked this up.
On weekeds my dad & i play tennis together on sat mornings,so do my younger step brother & sisters,she refuses to play. She hates it when i go on trips with my dad when he has work & does not like the idea of my dad giving me a sports ca for my 21st birthday,with a major party & a world tour of just the 2of us.
We have spoken to her about it,she is in denail. What do we do? What do i do? or is this just all to much for her to handel??
They have only been married for three years & this has been happening for about a year or 2

you and your dad seem to spend A LOT of time together. when does step-mom get any time, if all his free time is spent with you.
you are very fortunate to have a dad that can afford a new car a great party and a world tour.
maybe the step-mom isn't paranoid maybe she's sick of you getting the royal treatment.
you shouldn't shut her out of your plans---of course, unless you are deliberately trying to antagonize the woman.---are you?

You guys need to sit down and have a good talk about things.Your stepmum would be entitled to come with you aon a world trip.Invite her on the trip and who knows you may become good friends out of it.Makje her feel included in the party planning.It sounds like your dad has too much money and spoiling you rotten

Special time for you and your dad is great so is the idea of a car and party you lucky girl but a world cruise without his wife is just not right,are you sure your not jealous of her a little? don't bust them up cause you will grow up and leave home soon and he would end up alone again.

have everybody sit down and talk about what's going on. did you try asking her if you and her could go shopping? or to do something fun with just her? you have to build a relationship with her and not just your dad. get her something really nice for her birthday. hope this helps

u & ur father relation ship is just right for ur own mother But for step mother & her children she will always need ur father to give equal time to all her children & also special time to her .
But u can't speak much about a husband - wife relation ship it is their personal & have to sort out themselves .Ur dad & she should be clear about all this .So i thing they both should talk & sort it out.
