I am a sophmore in college!!!..I have only been in 1 serious relationship which lasted for about 3 1/2 years and now I am in my second relationship. We have been together for a 1 year now and I don't know why when I we start getting serious and I fall in love I automatically think about having a baby. I am on birth control and have been on it for years. But I know I can't right now because Im in school and we are not financially stable yet but I don't know why I dream of having his child. But this is wierd!!!....when my period is late I panic and get scared and don't want to have one all of a sudden! If I want a baby with him then why do I get scared when my period is late. We even use protection and I get scared.
But I know ya'll are going to trip off of this....I just want to be pregnant but I dont want to go through the stage of giving birth. But I do want a child.
I have a 5 month old baby sister, a 6 yr old sister and a 3 yr old brother and I love taking care of my baby sister.

I want my kids to have my husband's last name. They currently have my maiden last name.

Their biological father is barely in the picture. He makes no effort to see the kids. His family does, but only a few times a year. He and I were never married.

Do I need the biological father to sign something in order to have the kids' last names changed to my husband's? Also how can I have adoption papers written up? (I'd really like my husband and I to have full rights if possible.) What kind of attorney would I need for either of these things?

Thanks in advance!

My mother has run off to spain with her lover. She is bleeding my dad dry, (he is letting her, still loves her) She has started phoning him, and me, drunk, and verbally abusive, she said i should not talk to him. He did not do anything but pamper her all her life, 47 yrs, he is too soft, now he is paying. I am going mad here, i do not answer the phone to her anymore, so she leaves abusive messages. When i call on dad, every day, he is so stressed out, cause she is saying he has to give her everything, gonna take him for every penny, im scared he`ll have a heart attack, he is 69. I HATE my mother, she abused me all my life, my brother is at the end of his tether, he gets no where near the crap i am dealing with, i have a lovely life now, this is spoiling it, but i cannot ignore my dad, i love him, and worry so much. I think this will end in tragedy, any tips, to make dad see sense? He won`t go for councelling, it is all getting far too much for all of us, yet she still rings, abusive.

My cousin is only 14, and I realize he has been acting different lately. Then one day he told me he drank at a New Year's party. My cousin will not speak to me about it though, and tries to avoid me when he seems high or drunk. He idolized his older brother, who is in college (who also did drugs and alcohol, though he claims he stopped). The people my cousin hangs out with are into drugs also, as is his metal rock band. He is only 14 and I am really worried. I cannot tell his parents because they will just ship him off to India as they did his brother. Please help.

My friend has slowly started to move into my house with out really getting permission. First it was just staying here a night or two a week but now she is here on a nightly basis. She doesn't help much with chores, finances, or groceries but she does watch my kids at the drop of a hat. I have not asked for money bc she is havig a hard time herself, She has her own place 1 street over but it has no hot water and no heat. I have started to see a new guy and we are getting serious and are talking of living together. We feel that we have no time to ourselves and no time to be intimate bc she is always around. We are worried that she will start to cause problems with our relationship. I want to help her but I dont want her to be a wanderer or loafer.

We have lived together for one year and plan to marry this year. She seems to jump to any request her adult children, Mother, and siblings make. I'm not pouting, just wondering if I'm in her priorities. She will cause hardships on our relationship to travel across the states to see her family monthly and doesn't want to get a job because it bogs her down. Yes, she has been living on my dime and spent a fortune on her family for Christmas.

I have 2 cousins, one of them has loads of money, (he won 20,000pounds 7years ago) good health, good looks, he cheats on his wife and he is a lazy arrogant person and last week he won a large amount of money on the lottery. (second time)
My other cousin, has a tumor in his head, suffers with child diabites since he was 12, has to wear thick glasses, he is in and out of the hospital all the time, does not have a wife at all, and although he is very hardworking can barely make ends meet. He plays the lottery too, but has never won.

Why some people have all the luck?? ( they dont even deserve it)
and others have such bad luck??

He is begining to lose hope and I want to help him.
How can I help change his luck??

my brother in law, has always been more then stupid mentally, and im not just calling names here, its true. hes been through drugs, rehab only because he was not willingly to go to rehab but because he was caught! so maybe the drugs fried his brain some more and now that hes off, nothing but stupid words fall out of his mouth, for example this last christmas he says in front of my kids "mom and dad are santa clause!" he thought he was so funny. i try not to be around him as much as we dont have to but my sister in law and his wife like to push my kids to be friends with him, trying to act more "family-like" and i dont want my kids to be around that idiot at all, what should i do or say or what?

This New Year's eve my father in law was drunk and bragged to me about all the affairs he has had in his life. He also mentioned that he currently is involved with another woman and gave me details on how he gets away with it. He told me not to tell anybody about this. Should I tell my wife who will definitely turn around and tell her mom or should I keep quiet and mind my own business?

My 8 year old stepson has a birthday coming up in February and my husband and I want to surprise him with something really cool for his birthday. We only see him every other weekend, so we aren't real sure what he would like. He is hard to plan and buy for. We have 4 other children who want to be in on the surprise as well as the rest of the family. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm extremely annoyed at my mom. She knows my brother's soon-to-be-ex is beating on their kid, and she knows the woman is off her rocker and she knows the woman has huge anger management issues... yet.... she is to "scared" to call CPS. She says CPS will put the child in foster care with "strangers". I keep telling her that won't happen if there is a grandmother (her) who has been involved in the kid's life since birth. She lives 10 miles away.
(And my 44 year old brother is a loser- she's "scared" to kick him out of her house because she's "scared" the kid will live in the streets with him. Both parents are ******* and the kid is used to hurt the other person.)
PS I called CPS back in March but nothing came of it.
My question: If there's a grandmother available, would the kid go to strangers/foster parents or her?
(California) Opinions welcome!

Don't get me wrong I love my brother in law. He is the little brother I always wanted. Ever since my husband and I got married and moved into our place he has visited at least 5 days a week. I just need some alone time with my husband. How do I tell my brother in law (nicely) to give us some time to settle down. He doesn't seem to take hints and my husband thinks it is funny. Help he takes showers, watches tv, and downloads porn....He is such a brat.

When my other half is having a go at me I normally smile, nod and continue to watch the tv. This only infuriates her. If I shout back I am told to shut up. Perhaps I should go to the bedroom, get her to phone me so I can nod, smile and watch tv without her knowing. Would this work?
