Absolutely not. If he is going to be a proper father for your grandchildren, I think you should say something.

Wow, it's bad enough having one child by the time you're 18 but two kids! In addition to telling your daughter's boyfriend to get a job you need to tell your daughter to use some damn birth control. Show your daughter some pictures of single mom's all run down and looking like hell at a young age standing in line at the welfare office with 5 kids hanging off them - it's not an attractive future.

Are you not the father? As her father you have every right to tell them both that they need to grow up! He is having his second child and they are both living off of you!
It would be alright if they both had jobs and lost them and just needed the help to get on thier feet, but being a bum is not a good excuse.

Not only is it not wrong but you should. My daughter married a boy that WONT WORK.I'am a grow en man I'am very sick but I want to go to work and can't and this lazy little punk is not buying the kids anything at all.No toys no new clothes.I hope your daughter don't get stuck with a lazy no good punk like that.Lite a fire under his *** make him go to work. I think any man that is old enough to make babies is old enough to support them unless he is just useless.

Not at all, If you don't tell him to get a job your daughter is going to be taking care of three babies instead of two.(the boyfriend makes three) I should know I did it for a long time, and I never said a word but it hurt me really bad and I just excepted it. I wish I had my dad there to tell my ex to get off his butt and take care of his kids.

Hell no. Tell him to get out and get a job so he can support his family. But also tell your daughter she needs to work (unless she is staying home with the kids). Cuz it's not the 1950's, women can work as well.

You aren't wrong, I say no because more than likely you are the one thats taking care of the children in the house and personally its not your responsibility- you can help every now and then but not all the time- your daughters bf needs to get it together and take care of his financial responsibility and take care of those babies..

Is she living with you? Are you supporting the first child or is the father...you didn't mention if they are bio brother and sister? If dad is that lazy and you are supporting the children and the children's children...then I would definitely tell them both to get a job!

hell yeah!!!! if he is man enough to have a child and do the deed, then he is man enough to support them and have a job. sounds like someone is lacking structure. you need to set some rules, rent, utilities so that they have an idea of what the real world is, sounds like they are in a fantacy world.
