My daughter (age 31) stopped talking to me about a year ago. She changed her ph # and email. Everytime I find her, she changes them again. About a yr ago, I called her inlaws and she did call me and actually yelled at me for calling them. I have 2 (possibly more) grandkids from her and I haven't even seen them since 1998. I think her father might be telling her stories from my past. What should I do? Call the inlaws? Email her again? Her latest ph is disconnected.

She chose to say 'something more' in front of family during burial service of brother when nobody else had the "guts" to do so. Is her actions based on selfish desire for her own service or are they power plays that destroy our hearts for future -selfish mortal gain?

My 12 year old son dosn't listen! When i tell him not to do something, he does it anyway! Then he gets in trouble for it, And then he does something mean to other people whenever he gets in trouble. Like on time he got in trouble for not participating in class. Well he's failing that class. He got in trouble, and he took the disc out of his older brother's laptop wich had all of his work on it, and that was the report my oldest son was supposed to take to school the next day, well he kept it until 3 weeks after the report was due, and told his brother he had used the laptop and played a game, and took out the disc and missplaced it! Then there was this time when he got an E in english, and we grounded him, he took his twins money while he was sleeping, and he *accidentley* spilled maple syrup, and cofee on his twins report. I need help with my son! Me and my husband have tried everything! He's a nice kid until he gets in trouble! What should we do!?

Ok, it started off when my dad called the cops saying that my mom hit him, well there was no evidence of this and they still have to go to court for this. anyways my mom ended up having to live with my grandma, and a restraining order saying she cant call here or come to the house, and once in awhile she gives us some money. It wasnt child support cos my parents didnt bother going to court cos my mom gave us money anyways. well my mom wanted my dad to jus go to court and get her to end up paying child support but my dad decided he will make her and make us not able to call her or see her, earlier today when i was talking to her on the phone he made me hang up, and im jus curious if i do see my mom will that get my mom in any kind of trouble?

Apollonius of Tyana had studied about Lord Krishna in the Himalayas and then he returned and introduced these teachings to the Essenes, who became the first "Chrishn-ins", later Christians. The writings of Apollonius were re-written and plagurized by Roman churchmen at the Council of Nicea three centuries later.

In the fourth century, A.D., Hierocles accused the Christian priesthood of this plagury and of INVENTING a messiah by combining the name of the sun god, Iesus, with the name Chrishna, which had become corrupted to Christ by that time.

For example, in the birth story of both Lord Krishna and Jesus, the king ordered the death of all newborn male children. Also, both grew up as shepards, or cowherd boys.

The story of Jesus was plagurized from the life of Krishna.

I humbly request that all of the Christians out there study and compare the life of Krishna and Jesus, at the website below.

He was in jail for several weeks and we found out he was using all kind of drugs (meth, cocaine....) and he had been abusive in the past. She filed for divorce and we thought everything would be fine. He refused to go to rehab. Then she let him move back in the house right before Christmas. I am having a hard time moving past this. I am angry with him and at her for going back to him. Anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with this situation.

Please help me get my dad to want to get a horse! My mom is all for getting this one horse. He is a good beginniner owner's horse- he is an easy keeper. He jumps and does everything I want my horse to do. He is $6200. My mom said that we can afford the initial cost of the horse and she is the one who sees and pays all of our bills. We have found a place to keep him- which we can afford- and all I need to do is buy tack, which I was saving up for- I have $1000 in savings. My dad said that he isn't going to spend that much on a horse- although he said that when I got a horse we would get a good one. This horse is perfect. Please help me convince my dad! He is being such a stubborn man! LOL. Thanks to all who help!

I have two children from my first marriage. Their real father has chosen not to keep contact with them (hasn't seen them for 5 yrs). I have now been in a r'ship with a man for 4 yrs, during this time he has lived with us for 1yr. My youngest was 2 when I began dating my partner, she is now 6yrs old and demanding to know why she can't call him daddy? My older son would like to call him daddy also. I have tried speaking to my partner openly about this, and how much it would mean to all of us if he would let them refer to him as dad. He seems to have hesitations about this, but he also seems to be hesitant when I speak to him about marriage. He appears afraid of commitment. He tells me he would feel uncomfortable if they were to call him dad. I feel that he has been involved with us for long enough, and should feel comfortable by now. Esp if he feels comfortable enough to live with us, to sleep with me, and to say we are a family. Pls give advice if youve been in a similar situation.

I have seen so many teenagers who show no respect to their parents or the older generation. This has degenerated for the past fifty years. I would like to hear from both sides to see what the view point is. Hopefully, there will be serious answers.

My cousins (I have tons and most are married and have kids) and I grew up seeing each other a lot and now that everyone has their own lives keeping them busy, we only get together at weddings or funerals. Sad. I saw a lot of my family on Christmas Eve and many lamented how we need to get together more often. Sooooo, I'm taking it upon myself to organize the first "family party" at my house. It'd be about 25 adults and 15 kids (ranging in age from 1 yr to 18 yrs) and I'd like to have everyone either bring a side dish or dessert to share but we still have to provide the main entree, drinks, utensils, and I was thinking of hiring someone to provide kids' entertainment for a couple of hours. I was thinking of asking for donations (not making it mandatory) of $5 per person over age 10 and that I'd have a jar placed in the house where everyone could donate anonymously to avoid awkwardness. What do you think?

Pros:
-Provides well for family
-Works hard - I can stay at home to raise our children.
-Says I'm beautiful.
-Funny, handsome, smart
-Tells me he loves me.
-Praises kids when they do well.
Cons:
-Zero work at house. does not pick up after himself. After work he sits in front of the TV and "asks" us to bring him his dinner, pop, desert, or whatever he needs. Will leave to chat with his friends at bar for a few hours in the evening or watch TV or go in his room to read. We have 4 kids, I tend to all their needs.
-Leaves the house to golf or ride his Harley for hours whenever he wants. I stay at home with the children.
-asks nicely first, then gets upset or angry when things don't go his way. Then picks on things I did wrong.
-Affair once. Very sorry.
-traces of porn on family computer. says he clicked on one thing and then, surprise, porn popped up. Kids accidently saw titles in file list
-One time pushed son out of way so hard he fell to the ground (12 yr. old 5'8)

ok here's the story summed up... for the past year and a half, ive been struggling with anorexia. in the past month or 2 ive been overcoming it and recovering. here's the thing, my dad never really understood my reasons for being anorexic and never even made the attempt to be the loving dad i needed to help me through it. he and i were always close when i was really little, but as i got into my teen years, i started loosing my respect for him for a number of reasons. i am 15 now, and i am REALLY having a hard time dealing with the things he said and did to me during my anorexic period. he would SCREAM at me, call me names, say i was just being immature, and never supported or comforted me. now, i find it hard to even be in the same room as him becuase i am so afraid of his outburst and cant forgive him for his actions and words that hurt me terribly. i WILL NOT forgive him ever, but i am willing to let it go. but i want him to be the first to apologize. what should i do????

We teach (at least some of us) our sons to take responsibility as they grow up: provide financially and emotionally for their lady (wife), protect her, open her doors, treat her like a lady, all the gentlemanly courtesies.

And don't stop after you are married either.

Now, here's my question: what are we to teach our daughters to DO for their gentlemen (husband)? What are the expectations of a lady in terms of what she is to DO, not just what is to be done for her?

What courtesies do we teach that should be expected of ladies? What should we teach our girls to to DO for her future husband?

My mom quit her job in early 2006 and has yet to get another. I'm only 17 and I'm frustrated because I'm the only one with a job. I only make $7.00 an hour. She expects me to buy grocerys and gas. I already have a lot on my plate considering school for 8 hours and then work for 10 and only 4 hours of sleep after I've done all my homwork. Not to mention the fact that she is completely dependent on everyone around her. She even expects my boyfriend to help buy gas sometimes. He and I make the same amount and are trying to start a family together. How can I make her see that it isn't right for a 17 yr old to support her 5 member family?

I just can not depend on my mother in law! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband uses the only transportation that we have for work. Well, since she is so busy and all with work, I asked her anyways if she could drive me to the bank just to deposit my college grant. She cleans apartments for a living and her work is not even a mile down my home. Bank closes at 5pm, she said call back at 3:30, so I did, she didn't answer so I left a message. So, she calls my husband at work to tell him to call me to let me know that she can not take me because shes busy. Why can't she call ME back to tell me that she won't be able to make it? I'm the one that left a message. She seems like if she can't do something for me, she'll call my husband to tell him. She is weird. Why can't she go out of her way for like 10 minutes to come over and see her grandson. I mean, she has not come over once for the past 2 years to visit and she knows that I am home all the time!
