As a parent, I hate to admit this, but....it's because we let them be that way.As one has already said trying to be a friend instead of a parent tends to make the child feel as if they are at the same level as the adult.My mom always said spare the rod and spoil the child.Of course I ignored her and I am now the proud owner of two hellions.

Its the way a person views kids that make them a pain in the ***. Try change your view of kids.

Kids, i.e., teenagers primarily, are naturally self-centered and have a limited understanding of other people's points of view--and no understanding of the adult situation. And yet they think they do, so it's hard to talk to them and get them to understand or sympathize with you, especially if you are the parent or authority figure. It's all about "them" and so pain in the *** pretty much covers it.

I have 2 one is 7 and 2yrs old. They are hard to deal w/ but we made them. They didn't ask to be born. You have to do things w/ them that they like. You only have them for so long and then they are gone and you are alone. You can give up your time for them and when you need them when you are old they will take time w/ you. They exhaust me but every time I see them smile or laugh that is my payment. I also want them to make me laugh when I need to laugh when I get old. NOBODY SAID IT WAS GONNA BE EASY!!!!!!!!!!!

BECAUSE ITS THE PARENTS FAULT!!
the parents don't know how to discipline!!!! they let their children run over them and allow them to treat them as the child not the parents that they are!!!
