Well my sister died three years ago and my Mother is still acting like it happened yesterday. I hooked her up with a counsler and everything last year and it doesnt seem to be working. She wont leave her house. She goes to the doctor and gets pain medication that she says she needs for her "back". Well I had a very imporant court date about 2 months ago and of course what does she do, takes all her pain pills at once, after I told her not to do it. Well she was so high on meds that she couldt even hold her head up. Not to mention that fact that she almost overdosed last summer cause she had double dosed herself by "accident". Well she was lucky I was there that weekend or her husband would of came home and found her dead. Well now I live 3 hours away from her and when I call to try to talk to her she is so messed up that I cant even understand what she is saying. Well Im sick of talking to her about this. She takes 5 differnt pills! Enough to knock out a horse.

My Father in Law is rich. when I met his son he was living in a scary apmt & I came with the $ into the marriage & NEVER asked for a thing. I sold my 2 houses & we bought a house together. (By together I mean he didn't contribute, not that I care because I don't, it is just a fact.) Anyway, Father in Law and mother in law are still married and have multi properties. The "farm" is 400+ acres where their kids grew up. The mother in law says to me on the phone one day that if HE died she would sell it off. So I say (by the way my husbands ex in laws live next to this "farm") if you sell it off, it will break my hubby's heart. He sees his kids (Not mine) and grand kids growing up there. So months later we are there at the "Farm" for Easter and the drunk Father in law tells me to keep my eyes off of his Farm! And that when He dies he might leave it to the boy scouts of america. HE has never appologised . We have been invited to the Farm for Thanksgiving, do we go?

For years, my mom has been very controlling and mean to me. I am now 24 years old and she is still so mean, controlling and paranoid. I have no friends and no life because of her. I litterally support her by us living together. I am able to afford my own place but she cant. She is on disability and is able to pay her half of the rent and some bills, but I pay for the majority of it all. Hell, most of the furniture is mine. I just want to get away from her so badly...but my lease does not expire until next year in July. What can I do?

My parents anniversary is this week nd me nd dad do not get along. Everytime we're together we end up gettin into a BIG argument!

So everytime we see each other we jus ignore each other. Sometimes i need stuff frim my dad lik lunch money , a drive to my friends house. nd idk wat to do! If i go to my friends house or sumwhere else he'll complain tht i don't wanna be wit him n stuff lik tht.
Plus he always drifts off after he gets out of work nd doesn't get home till 6:00pm every day ! He gets out of work @ 4pm. He never lets me or my bros go outside at all!! Nd he never lets us play video games! I don't think it's fair! I need to be wit my friends cuz at skool we barely get to hang out.

Wat can i do about all these probs??
(I kno it's a lot of questions but i really need suggestions!)

My BIL is a pompous ***. He even admits it. He acts really friendly to my face, and in from of his mom and my husband, but when he IM's me, he's rude, arrogant, and calls me a lazy whore. I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant, and recently left my job. I keep the house clean, cook supper, do grocery shopping for a family of 5, help my mom out at her house, and have a four year old daughter and a husband. He thinks that he's better than everyone else, and his mom just adores him.
How can I get her to see that her precious son is a serious problem for me? If I say anything, she just goes, "Oh, that's "Nick" for you." I am pregnant and DO NOT need this stress.

Ok this stuff has gone too far I hate it. Im 19 years old and my sis is 18. I know its not much of an age difference but im the older and i should get treated like that, but i dont. Im quiet and not that talkative and my sis is kinda loud and more outgoin. She always tries to protect me and i hate it. Everyone looks at her as bein my big sister like im weak or sometin and they make it seem like she has to protect me. Lets jus put it this way she gets more respect than me. My mom always treats her like shes older, she even talked bout buyin her a car before me and didnt even offer to help me buy one. How do i get this to change? I already confronted them about it but they take like its no big deal but to me it is. I want more respect, should i be more outgoin? What should i do?

I've been married for 2 years now and everytime at Christmas, my husband and I get into a fight about Christmas. I don't see the problem in my kids believing in Santa. My husband thinks that I'm lying to the kids because my husband's mom pushed the fact that Santa wasn't real. I think that it's wrong to tell kids that Santa isn't real. Santa and Christmas is a big part of a child's life.

At 14 I'm going through a really bad phase. My realtinship with my parents was destroyed a year ago when they punished too harsh and I got extremely resentful. It's true I was doing wrong stuff but they didnt act as parents, but just as Law and showed no love. For a year I could bear with this situation but these days I've been really deprtessed, no one to share my problems with, no one to give me advice, I feel lonely, sad, depressed and alone. It's been hard to sleep at night. It's bad yo feel alone in your home.
I'm a kinda good student, most people like me, I get comfort in voluteering activities, but sometimes I wish I didnt exist. Maybe this is just a phase, but it's hard to deal with this. Sometimes I feel like doing something stupid.
Ok, I don't kow how to describe how I feel. What could I do? talking with my parents is out of the question.

have been to court. He pays child support, his visitation schedule conflicts with his work schedule, the judge did not take this under consideration. She gives him hell when he doesn't visit, and threatens him, he can't afford to be harrassed, he has told her to stop, if they fire him from his job she get no support, to get back at him she put a restraing order against him, he flipped, because they were going to take his gun away, he told the judge she would do this, he has an impeccable record at work, he was to go to court, but he had to immediately call for an adjournment, he is looking into an attorney, the day he was to go to court, she was there and he wasn't. She called him and told him she withdrew the complaint, she was pissed at him. He was furious, and told her not to contact him unless the baby is sick. and that he will lbe foing to court, once the baby turns 1 he can have an overnighter. thats in Dec I can't stand this fighting, he still has not go to the attorney, Help

So my Mother calls letting me know that Grandmother is ill and needs 24/7 care. She said that we should split the care because of work and other stuff. Now that I thought about it, I don't want Grandmother in my place, she'll make it stink like old people and it's not a pretty sight for when I bring Babes over. How do I prevent Mother from dropping Grandmother off on me to care for?

My 20 year old daughter lives at home and goes to school full time. We paid for her schooling. She had a full time job but quit to go to school. She has a car (she paid for) and a serious boyfriend. My husband is the bad cop and I'm the good cop. Don't get me wrong, I do talk to her about responsibility. She is either at school, at boyfriend's, or out somewhere. She doesn't do much housework, leaves her sh*t everywhere, basically needs me to push her to do every little thing. I love her very much and want her to do well in school (which she is doing excellent). My husband is not so kind, she thinks he's too hard on her. I get in the middle...even though I try not to. I agree with his points, but I wouldn't convey it so harshly. Her boyfriend stays over all the time or she stays at his parent's. He is like family but I feel that if they want to be together 24/7 that they should move in together and leave us out of it. I also have a 16 year old daughter who always helps out

So here's the thing..
My parents are moving to Arizona after I graduate from High School. Yes, i'll be 18. But the thing is, they want me to be with them forever. They want me to move to arizona with them, and just because they'll be there, they want me to attend Arizona state/ Phoenix University. They don't understand that not EVERY college is for everything. Besides, I do not want to move there at ALL..I live in MIchigan currently, and I love it here. I have a college plan and everything. I have my post grad plans figured out. But still, they are almost saying they are going to MAKE ME go with them...but I need to figure some of my life out on my own, I dont want to ALWAYS have them there, hand feeding everything to me. I have so much going for me here, and if I move, i'll lose just about all of it. I really need help with this. There isn't anything for me there, except A college I have no interest in, & my own parents dreams being crammed down my throat. I <3 Them its jus not 4 me.
