I have a in-law that gets mad @ me everytime something doesnt go her way! I have tendency to try to keep peace so I apologize even when I haven't done anything! Well this is getting REALLY old! Do you think I should just keep apologizing even when I am not in the wrong to keep the peace, or should I just let her stay mad! I believe I just have to make it right on my side, and If she doesn't except it the fault is left on her. Am I right? What do I do????

I found on yahoo answers this thing about "your mom showed you unconditional love when blah blah....and then "you did something" and then at the end it said "then your mother silently passed away". It didn't ryme, but it was a point across about how ur mother loves you unconditionally and how you paid her in return

myself when i went to pick up my 28 year old daughter at her BFS when they were fighting she decided to stay, he shot and killed her the next day. i would have someway forced her to go with me had I only known and that's what I'd do if I had a do over

My in-laws have been going through some serious crap lately... my father in law lost his father a couple months ago, now he is laid off from work, and just now his mother has gotten very sick and may have a terminal disease; this was all unexpected. My mother in law's mother has been sick and is now getting worse.

I get along with my in-laws better than I do my own parents. We havent always been close but now we all love each other.

I want to help them in this difficult time. We have no money to ease the financial burden on them; I have been through losses, but I was much younger then; so I dont know what I should do or say now as an adult. How can I be supportive and understanding? What can I possibly say? I feel awful because I'm so powerless to be of any real help. Especially with regards to my husband's 2 grandmothers... they may not have long and its so hard when you know they could go any day. How can I be more supportive? Thanks in advance.

My 9 year old daughter went to Yahoo image search for "kitten" pictures and got a picture of a kitten with a sign below it " every time you masturbate, God kills a kitten". How do I stop her from reading and seeing inappropriate material? Since I've went to the new Yahoo brower, I don't know how or where the "safe " button is.
Can you help me figure out how to regulate what my kids see on the internet?

Don't you just love dumbass doctors that get paid too much and look at thier patients as wrok and not real people..They overllook extreme lung cancer..and then a 2 months later..when it's almost too bad they call you to tell you they didn't look close enough. and when they operate on you..and **** up.. then send you home. and when you have to be rushed into the hospital and can't breathe and they take a guy in before you with a twisted ankle..and you're mom dies. I hope doctors ******* die..Im 14..I can't handle this ****.I could talk to my mom about it..oh yeah that's right..she's ******* dead.

actually its not my mom..it's my grandmother..but Ive always called her mom..because my real mom..well that's a whole other story.

My friends parents are... abusive? They party all the time, his dad is an alchoholic, and his mom leaves the house, sometimes for days on end. His dad sometimes even goes with her, leaving him to do everything for the rest of the family, his younger brothers, cooking meals, everything. What can I do to help him?

I watch her 11 month old daughter during the week (my niece) along with my two children. Every time one of my kids or her daughter gets sick either with a contagious illness or not, she insists on bringing her daughter over. I have tried many times to stress how important it is to try to keep the children apart if at all possible when they are really sick. To no avail, she has a different belief system than I do, and was raised differently to say the least. My step son had pink eye last week and she brought her daughter over anyway, stating firmly that you can only contract pink eye from dogs and cats, not people, so that her daughter was at no risk. She was very irate about it. We have stickers in our backyard lawn (the kind that hurt your feet in the summer) and she insists that they are honeysuckles. She said that's what her mother told her when she was little and you can't tell her any different. (Honeysuckle grows on vines, not out of the lawn).

Ok my father is 50 years old, has no job, has almost never had a job, and is now living with me, my husband and our kids. He is not in anyways sick or disabled. And he has recently begun sleep all day. Yes he dose help out with the house work and the kids every now and then but only when I tell him to. We all get along great, but I think my husband is getting tired of my father living with us and off us. My father thinks the only way he can get a job is to open his own business, only he has no money to do so and we don't have the money to give him. Pulse he never finishes what he starts anyways. Is there anyways to convince him to get a regular job and move out. I don't want him to be on the street, but I don't want him living with us forever ether. What should I do??

It's OUR house ( all us kids' house)--and he's taking off on a job tomorrow for two straight years.
When he leaves, that's two weeks of bills he has run up at the house.
What to do before he leaves?

My parents are against all drugs, smoking etc. But, as far as I know, hookah isn't bad for me. I'm also Indian, so maybe I could say I'm going cultural? =)

Thanks

I have had a crappy mother in law for 15 years. She ignores me and basically acts like I don't exist. Luckily I only have to see her a few times a year, but I'm dreading the holidays. For some reason, I always seem to be stuck in a room with her alone! Have you dealt with this situation, and if so, how do you deal with it? Please don't tell me to have my husband talk to her, he has, it's done no good. Thanks

I moved back in with my mom after losing my job, I have small child, as well. Well, my mom and I don't get along. I have a relative that let me stay Sunday night with her. My mom wouldn't let me take my son with me on Sunday. Well, I didn't move in with the relative & I feel guilty for the way I had to tell the relative, I left here a note and left her key in home. Told her it caused too much trouble at home to move in with her. I really wanted to move in with her. But, my mom goes nuts when I said I wanted to live with her.Why do I feel so guilty?

I'm kinda a suicidal writer and my mom is always asking to read my poems and I'm not sure if I'm ready to show her. I mean I don't really hurt myself but I'm scared that if she reads them she might think I actually do.
