No of course not,I applaud the **Chinese** family for wanting to take on the responsibility of raising a 7yrs old white girl.
If she was loved and cared for like one of their own, then all I could see she would be a well adjusted young adult with an multi cultral upbringing.....
Of course this depends on her previous 7yrs as well,be hopes that adoption is for the right reason and no out of pity, as will have it's moments believe me...♥

A wonderful one. What difference should it make "what anyone is or is not?" If the child is loved that is what counts - as for so called "heritage" I personally think it is over rated, the child's heritage will be a happy healthy loving home....As for the rest of the world it would not matter as no matter where you go or who you are someone will find fault. I am sure that the family will raise her to be strong and determined and she will quickly learn to drop those who are beneath her in intelligence.... I am sure there is voice to appose what I have said and maybe to some extent they might be right.......but I don't think so. I hope the family and the child take the chance and greet any opposition as a stupid joke - I wish them luck and great love.

Nope is it weird that white families adopt chinese kids? Nope! People do it all the time! And it kind of depends on how they live. If they are caught up in the whole chinese way of life then that could do alot of damage.

If there is a 7 yr. old white girl who needs a good home & family & a loving chinese couple that can & will give it to her, may God let them find each other. There many little girls in that situation & many fine chinese couples that would make fine parents. Why would anybody deny them the chance to be together.

No. As long as you love her she'll be happy. As mentioned, it's like a white family adopting an asian girl, different cultures but same heart.

White people adopt Asian children all the time and it's widely accepted. As long as they love the child as their own what difference does it make what any one else says?

It wouldn't be any weirder than a white family adopting an asian girl. I have a friend who is white who adopted a black kid. They are VERY careful to raise them in the white culture of their family, but also to expose him to and raise him in the culture of the black tradition so he can relate/identify with others of his race.
