hi. im 12 and my mom has been dating with this guy for a year or so . after a couple months he moved in ! i told her today i dont like him living here it feels funny so she says what did he do wrong!
what should i say to my mom to help her understand.

whatever it is that is making you uncomfortable, tell your mom...if you can't talk to her, find another adult you trust and talk to them about it
if he is doing weirdo stuff, tell the school counselor

If it were my daughter I would want to hear everything about how she feels. Even if its nothing specific, like there was no one bad thing he did. If you're uncomfortable say so. Tell her you love her and want to be happy but you need to adjust more slowly to having her boyfriend move in. Did you have time to get to know eachother as a family befor he moved in? If you really didn't get to know eachother well, then tell your Mom that she had lots of time with him but you didn't and now you have a new person in your home that you don't know well. If he has done something, or given you the feeling that he will do something that will harm you, you MUST tell your mom right away. You need to talk with her calmly, lovingly, and just say everything you want to say and ask her to just listen and then take some time to think about what you say. She may just not realize how much its bothering you.

I say trust your instincts. Explain to your mother that this guy makes you uncomfortable, even though he hasn't done anything wrong, and if she won't listen, ask if you can have a lock for your bedroom door... you might feel safer that way.
Even if he -is- an okay guy, his moving in with your mom is a major disruption of your life, and your mom should have asked how you felt first.
Is your real dad within communication reach, and do you have a close relationship with him? If so, maybe you could talk out your feelings with him.

If that man has touched you or even thought about being in anyway nasty with you, you tell your mom and tell her NOW, get him out of there!!! You deserve to be comfortable in your home.
If you just feel funny because he is there, give him a chance, your mom needs a shot at true happiness too...

You should tell your mom that things feel different. You should tell her that you respect her decision to date the guy and let him move in, but you feel like it is changing the relationship between you and your mother.

Explain to her he did nothing wrong, but try to be sensitive to her feelings too since she is obviously happy with him. But sometimes you have to sacrifice your own feelings for someone else happiness

well Ive been in that situation. My mom cheated on my dad with this guy, and BAM there he was. I hated him. Still kind of do. My mom ALWAYS takes his side. Good luck, I couldnt find a way out. there still together.
