My dad will not get me a phone that I am willing to pay for but not service just the phone he said he would pay for the service but now he said I have to wait until Christmas and I cannot wait that long becuz of i have to ride my bike to school now and hes just being a pain in the butt!!!!!!!!!! Its almost like hes trying to make me miserable and he even admitted that he has tried to make me fele bad

For one thing you have no concept of the money thing. The phone is very cheap compared to the service. Sure 15 bucks a month to add you on to his service sounds cheap to your short little attention span but that is $180 a year and probably more than you will pay for your phone.
If you had a phone you would probably die running into traffic while talking into it on your bike.
If your dad gets you that service for Christmas he is probably dumber than even you.
You should concentrate on your school work. If you don't learn to spell better and think about money in better terms you will be riding that damn bike the rest of your life.

first of all - retarded is not an action but a condition for which one is not responsible ...... is a form of lifestyle which a person is given
secondly - perhaps your father feels you are not responsible enough for such an item yet ----
many young folks these days have a phone simply for status not for real need
be patient and show him you are worthy of trusting with such responsibililty and for offering him such respect
just because something does not go your way does not mean it is not reasonable -- trust and respect are earned from a parent and child
you have made him feel bad so sounds like he has been giving you a dose of your own medicine
be thankful you have a father who cares in a time when so many do not!

Boys will always have issues with their fathers, so first, get used to it. Just remember he is the only father you have.
second, Christmas is about 5 weeks aways. Its not that long. He just wants to be able to give you something, don't take one of the few ideas he has for you away. Plus, if you wait till Christmas, you might not have to use your money to pay for the phone.
All parents do this.

Hey, your dad is probably waiting for Christmas so he can get it for you as a present. Dont be such a spoiled brat!! Be patient and wait for christmas. Its only a month and a bit away. Mabey your dad already bought you the phone and is wanting to give it to you at christmas.

As a Dad ... We can be funny this way! We know what (most) guys are really after!
Often, it is because we (Dads) don't want to lose our daughters (little girls). Hang with him through the holiday season (Christmas). He will (most can) lighten up!
We (Dads) love you more than you can know! Sometimes, it is difficult for us to tell you that! He is not really trying to make you feel bad, He just loves you more than you can know (at this point).

No one actually needs a cell phone. It was an advertising gimmick. As long as your dad has the money, he calls the shots. Sorry.

i have the same problem wit my madre. she is sayin i have to wait till christmas then it will look like a christmas present cuz my padre dont want my mom just giving me stuff like that. for now i thing that u should try ur best to get thro it cuz my dad is a ******** like urs. only 1 month and 16 days, YUCK!!

Why do you need the phone so bad, just wait til christmas its not that far away. I amsure he has his reasons. Maybe he is buying you one for christmas and that is why he said wait.
