I'm in boarding school, and I miss my parents dearly. I've tried everything to not make myself think of them. I've tried making myself busy. Nothing works!

A lot of other girls will be feeling exactly how you are, so you're not alone. It takes time, but try to immerse yourself in boarding school activities, and get into a fun group of friends.

It'll make your time there much more tolerable when you feel like you have more fun there than at home!

By the middle of the year when i was at college, i didnt even want to come home for the holidays! But i started out just like you.

Give it time, and dont underestimate the value of great friends, who will become more like sisters.

Good luck.
