i mean why should anyone have children instead of having a dog?
dogs are very grateful there are very satisfied with whatever you give them ,they never ask for more they love you so so much and they show it in every way they can

I just found a letter my stepdaughter wrote to a teacher, saying she can't "trust anyone" and doesn't "have anyone to talk to". (I don't make it a habit of snooping, this was open on her desk) We, my husband and I, always encourage her to talk to us (her mom included) and to never be afraid to tell us anything, that we will work out whatever the problem is, etc. We aren't a yelling, screaming type of family, why does she feel she can't talk to us? We try to be very open with her all the time.

My husband and I are seperated with no chance of reconciling. His decision. I won't talk bad about her dad because of our little girl. Unfortunately he is a major hypochondriac. He's convinced he has a mysterious disease that is going to kill him. I told him he can't discuss his illnesses in front of our daughter, because he scares her. She is the true personna of "Daddy's Little Girl."

I have been given a wonderful opportunity that will give my family a better life. However, it is about 2000 miles away. I was explaining the move to our daughter & she doesn't want to leave because daddy needs her. I explained daddy has his whole family here to take care of him & he is fine. He will come visit her often & he loves her. We get to live with Granny in a house with a big yard. She can plant her own little garden. So how do I explain to a 5 yr old that Daddy will be fine & how nice will be to live in a safe area with good schools & lots of room to play.

My husband is on a business trip this week and we just found out his sister and neice will be arriving next Monday (He gets back this Friday). We knew they were coming out for Thanksgiving but we thought they'd be arriving on Wed. My house has been volunteered for the cooking of Thanksgiving dinner so sister and mom-in-law will be over. That's not really a problem, but this is our first Thanksgiving together as husband and wife. There are certain traditions on Thanksgiving I would like to carry over to our new family just as my hubby has his. How do I politely insist on certain things without stepping on toes? For instance I really love making pumpkin cheesecake instead of pumpkin pie. My hubby's fam insists on the traditional pumpkin pie. Would it be frowned upon to make the cheesecake in advance anyway when they have every intention of baking a pumpkin pie and I know it? Sister won't be leaving until Sunday. Hubby and I would like to put the x-mas tree up the Sat after.

My sister cried when they kept treasing her about her hair style and when her suppose to be friend accused her for taking sides with her other friend because they don't like each other and she tells me about it but I have a hard time telling her

even though my parents are seperated now he's always calling to see where we are and what we're doing just like be4 he can't do tht now especially with my mom! sometimes he'll make up excuses and tyr to pretend he's calling for something else. even my mom doesn't like him i don't get why she just doesn't tell him to stop. even when we used to live with him and he was at work he'd be like what are you guys doing whos in the house. one time when me and my cuz were going to our friends house whose parents he knows very well he's like why r u going? one time he made such a big deal out of it he did it to me in front of my rerlatives. he's like why cornering me always trying to put meon the spot making it an awkward moment. he's like what are you gonna do there with that evil look on his face (and no one would say anything to afraid to stand up to him he's like the scraiest peron in the world). i don't get why some ppl have to feel so powerful and and **** and always have to know everythin

I'm turning 19 tomorrow (the 13th). I have a 3.8 GPA in college working on two degrees, and I even work full-time. The apartment we're living in is under my name and I let her have more than half of my paycheck for utilities, rent, and whatever else needs to be paid. The thing is, my mother is extremely controlling. She doesn't want friends calling my cell, or my even hanging out with them. Those are friends that she doesn't even know personally. Sometimes she makes suggestions and expects me to accept them or she'll get super pissed and then start yelling and/or never ends the lecture.

The other day, we were discussing careers and she said if I didn't take this and that career, she'd be super disappointed in me.

I have a boyfriend now, and if she finds out she'd start another 3-day argument until I leave him. She hasn't met him yet because she never gave him the chance to stop by our place. How can I tell her I have a BF without having her freak out?

I owe over £12,000 in Child support she is not getting a penny. I have not seen my daughter for over 4 months. I had an affair with this woman and lied that I was married. Why wont she leave me alone and get on with it. It is upsetting my wife and making life at home difficult to say the least . Any advice on how to get rid of her.

I am 28 yrs old and the only girl of 2 brothers. I have always felt that my dad was alot harder on me than my brothers. He is constantly belittling me and hurting my feelings. We have a twisted pattern where we get along for about a month and then he finds something to pick at me about and then I speak my mind and we won't talk for a week b/c he's mad. He treats my mom the same way- only, she puts up with it to keep the peace. I just want a good relationship with him but he makes it SO hard :( I am torn and at my end's witt. I have even contemplated cutting him out of my life for good b/c he brings nothing but grief into my life for the most part. I feel he enjoys people walking on egg shells around him. I have tried to talk to him but it does no good...what do I do??

I pay for the daycare provider, take them to work with me on the weekends I provide a roof over there head. She drinks and drives with them and he smoke weed all day. They can't even buy the children pampers.

my daughter was due to have her first baby 2 weeks ago - and i still don`t know if she has had it. me and my husband - her step father who loves her very much are not allowed to get in touch with her. her husband has taken her mobile away and watches her every move. she can`t do anything without asking him first and if she wants to go out, it has to be with him. me and my daughter were always incredibly close till he came along and for some reason he made it clear he dislikes us. they live in a "show home" and the only time we went round there we had to leave our shoes on the doorstep. i was so worried i may spill my cup of tea as everything was so perfect. we were so uncomfortable. when they came round to our house i`m afraid we were drinking and smoking after a hard days work and he said we live like pigs. we don`t i promise. we just work hard. i cant get in touch with her, she lives 40 miles away, we dont have a car. i have tried everything to get in touch, please what shall i do?

My lil bro passed away recently & my family wants 2 sell the house. My bro put his blood sweat & tears n 2 his house & I dont want 2 see it given away 4 $$$. None of my other brothers or sister can/want 2 move n 2 it but I do & I feel kinda guilty. Ok, my mom is allways in a gripy mood enymore and my family is allways complaining. My dad is constanly telling me all these bad things about mom and viseversa. With all of our familys trouble my entire family is never happy enymore. I can't take my family allways complaing about eachother to me. Some-times I even think I would rather kill myself. My parents don't listen enymore, they get mad when i try to tell them what there doing, even in the nicest way. I can't take it enymore and I don't want my little brother to have to deal with this when I go of to collage in four years. What should I do if no one will listen? mother in law lived next door till she met a man and moved out of her house and now brother in law and wife and kids moved in and now they took over her house and mother in law does not call come by or even check on her grand kids ....should we write her off for good ? how can you do this to people you love.......husband is tore up by the way his own mother has left us to deal with next door. brother in law is tearing walls out and fixing the house like its his but mother in law doesn't care i guess but when we lived there and wasn't allowed to touch anything........family should never do this to you ......should we move out of state to get away from the hurt?
