i mean why should anyone have children instead of having a dog?
dogs are very grateful there are very satisfied with whatever you give them ,they never ask for more they love you so so much and they show it in every way they can
children dont do that

I have to laugh . When I had my son . He cried all the time . I couldn't make him stop .I changed his formula and that did the trick . BUT ! When this was all going on . I would say why did I have a baby . Dogs are easier to take care of . I love both of my kids . Don't get me wrong . Once you have them you love them . But in the beginning I thought the same thing . I have had dogs since I was a kid . My dogs live a very long time . Way up into there upper teens . That's because I take care of them . Oh yeah my kids are living too . I did take very good care of them as well . I must have , there grown and gone . But I understand where your coming from . Don't feel guilty about thinking this . It's better you want a dog and not a child . As you might not be the parent type . It's OK . It's better to find out what you want . Then to find out latter that you didn't want a little person in your life at all . Dogs Rule !

Where would you be if your Mother had taken this attitude. Children are the best thing to ever happen to a person. And even though a child can be a real pain in the neck at times, the wonderful times with them out weights the bad times. There is nothing like the feeling of a little person growing inside of you. And then when the time comes to finally hold that small little person in your arms there is no words to explain the feeling of great joy you have. Also children live a whole lot longer then a pet does. In your old age who is going to be there for you?? Not a pet, but a person that YOU brought into this world.

You're right - pets are easy - not a whole lot of commitment on your part, not a lot of energy. But, children are yours for life - time, money, you pour your life into these people and it's a huge responsibility!!!! Until you are ready to have kids - a pet will satisfy you.
