If you have ever had involvement with Child Protective Services or DHHS, would you agree that they are destroying the USA by ripping families to shreds?

I mean, I loved my mom before I turned...12. Then, all of a sudden, she changed. I'm almost sure it wasn't me. I can't keep my door closed, and I'm constantly in trouble for stupid things like cussing. What happens? Anyone? I'd love for a mom to answer this.

I think he is confused about the process and having touble deciding on what to do. He is enrolled at one, thinking of commuting to another. It is really getting late. He has not established housing, and is talking about taking a year off. I don't want to have to kick him out to get the message.

My sister's birthday is comming up on August 12th. We are very close and I want to get her something special. She is married and have two young boys so I want a gift that will help her relax in some way. Last year I gave her a gift card for 1hour massage in a spa but she didn't like it that much. Any ideas would be appreciated. But please be tastefull. She is turning 29.

My dad spent time in the hospital recently (3weeks) and at first his new wife and I got along fine.My dad and I are very close, and I've always taken care of him when he is sick. He's been battling this problem for 8 years. We got along fine till she started saying things like, it's HER job to take care of him now, and telling me what I'm going to do at the hospital. They have only been married for a year, and I don't like people telling me what to do when it comes to my family. Her family was there, and they were being very snotty. I do understand that they are married now and that does constitute at least some respect for her, but what do I do going forward? Her daughter is my age and she flipped out on me, yelled at me, then hung up on me. She talked bad about my dad to me, then was all sweet and nice to his face. I am not going to let them come in between me and my dad. What do I do?

I recently got rid of my dd's babythings, she is 1.5 and still nursing and I am ok with that because I believe in child-led weening, and anyways the AAP and WHO both recomond nursing through the second year, and then on as long as mother and child prefere. But Im not asking for a deabte on extended nursing I have my stance. I was just wondering why did you choose to nurse your baby? How did your family react? How has that decision impacted your life. I want happy moments, so us nursing mothers can smile on eachother's experiences. Thanks

She agrees to it, but you have to do it for 20 solid minutes. You also have to use your tongue.

When a guy beats his wife, why does the woman go back to him or stay with him? It's driving me crazy! No offence, but it's stupid! The guy might "accidently" beat her to much, and if they have a kid then why does she keep him in danger?
I understand, that not EVERY woman let's this happen, but there are still a lot that does, and i don't understand what's going through their heads, why would they let this happen to their kid, and why would they let this happen to themselves?

Resently, I have been having family problems and have tryed to make things better in anyway i could. When i am with them i am always depressed or angery because they are framing me for one thing or another. Usally things are my fault and i am the child who is always wrong. My siblings however tend to be the better of the family. I feel like i don't belong and i get that vibe from them that i shouldn't be there and i am not part of their family. I can't take living with them and i have been contumplating suicide because i am stuck here. I have two places that have said i can live with them which would make my life way better but i don't know how to tell my parents that can't stand them. What should i do to get out? and if i tell them what should i say?

My boyfriend's family are good, christian people for the most part. His mom and grandparents aren't so bad when it comes to things like asking us to go to church with them and things like that. But I have an inkling that his father, who is a really sweet man, STILL after 2 1/2 years hasn't quite caught on that I'm an atheist. I'm constantly bombarded at their house with uncomfortable situations, mostly brought on because he's ranting about something on the O'Reilley Factor. I don't believe in god, I'm pro-choice and I don't have a problem with homosexuality. And he's SO the opposite. I feel like it's one of those situations where it would have been better if I had come out and said something when we first got together because now it's too late and I think he thinks I have the same views. I plan on marrying my man and he might be my future father-in-law. I don't want any bad blood because he's passionate about his faith and I'm not quite so. How do I go about talking to him?

My bro is telling me he's gonna have to "crash" at my place from now on cause his (supposed) soon to be father in law wants him out of their house for the reason he just doesn't want him there anymore- I'm guessing it's because they are not married yet. The family agreed to take him in - they don't sleep in the same room! He's been with his girl for 7 years. He recently got out of prison after been gone for 2 yrs. Before he left I moved in to my own apt. with my son, my older sis moved to Nevada, my mom is a live-in caretaker, my father lives in another state as well. I know he wants to marry this girl and move out on their own- how long should I let him stay? What "rules" should I apply (if any) to this agreement? Should I keep track of his money?
Keep in mind I live with my spouse and son in a STUDIO apt. and am preganat. We will also be moving in the coming months.

I am 20 andI have a 1 1/2 year old daughter with my boyfriend of five years. I just recently moved to a different state while he stayed behind for a month to save more money while waiting to get a job in the new state. While we were apart we talked every day as a family. He told me how much he missed us and couldn't wait to be together again. I started getting a funny feeling about him and his myspace account so I started chatting friendly with him with a different ID. I just wanted to see what he was up to. Everyone of the friends on his profile are from the new city we moved to. He has lied about what he does for a living and about the fact that he is moving here. He has said that he is just visiting for a week. He did confess about his daughter but says that she lives with his "ex," me. I know that it isn't cheating technically but it still hurts. What should I do?
