Wow, that's terrible. I know how she feels. I'm the type of person to put up or shut up though. I left plenty of jobs when it didn't feel right. Life's too short to feel bad especially due to your employment. If she is being harassed she does have rights. Have her find a new job. Good luck.

I worked on an assembly line for 8 years with some of the worse people i have ever been around in my life! It was awful. I lost weight, i was in poor health , i was never happy. The people you work with mean alot. I finally had to just give the job up. I would tell her to try to find another job if at all possible. It is just not worth being upset all the time. Life is too short!!!!!!

Things you can suggest are find another job, transfer to another part of the company or talk to her boss or maybe there is a mediator in her company that will talk to them to solve there problem if the problem is small she could talk to the person face to face and resolve the problem.

Listen to her. Support her. Reassure her that she could get a better job.

Mostly women like to have people listen to them - guys want to solve problems but women sometimes just want to talk about emotions, not necessarily fix anything.

Best thing is to listen. She probably isn't looking for advice, but somebody to vent to. Let her get it off her chest and then ask what action she is going to take and discuss.

Send her flowers at work. That should help her have a better work day.
