If you have ever had involvement with Child Protective Services or DHHS, would you agree that they are destroying the USA by ripping families to shreds?

Ok, first off, Cheese M? You obviously have no idea what CPS is about. You truly believe they are in it for the kids' welfare? NOT! Read up a bit more. A lot of victims of CPS took great care of their children.

And Lord Goldbricks? You are so wrong. They go after influential white families too because white babies are a hot commodity these days.

I have seen both sides of that statement. Ive seen a child taken from his home only to be beaten to death a few months later by the foster parent. I have also seen a child in obvious danger be left in his home only to be found starved to death a few months later. Both cases happened in the stare of Indiana.
Less case loads ,more professional case workers, better training and more in depth training on
cultural differences in child care and raising.
Some children are in fear for their lives on a daily basis and no one hears their cries. There has to be an advocate that speaks for them and their welfare.
False reports of abuse by an upset neighbor or unfounded neglect charges by an ex can destroy your life. Even if found to be untrue there is always that stigma . I don't know an answer for you at this time but there needs to be a fail safe on the system that can take your child away from you.

They do have too much raw power. The right of due process does not apply to much of what CPS does. The idea behind this is that it is often necessary to remove children from a home very quickly. And, that is true from time to time. However, CPS misuses their power and, furthermore, tries to slander and smear parents who stick up for their rights.

I have never been personally involved with them, but they have let so many sad cases of abuse fall thru the cracks and they go after cases that are just a call cuz someone is mad at the family. They need to concentrate on the ones that really need thier help

I feel that we need to have more agencies like CPS to shred up more famillies. Besides they only shred the ******* famillies anyways.

cause most people aren't such bad parents that CPS needs to intervene. so most people don't care about people who can't take care of their own children.
