I agree that a gift card is the quickest solution, but make sure it is to a store or for merchandise that she will really appreciate.

In addition to a gift card, you could make her something for her room, such as a potpourri dish covered with colored netting (you can never go wrong with something that smells good and the supplies for this cost like $5 and it takes no more than 5 minutes to assemble) or you could decorate a picture frame for her that she can put a picture of her favorite pet or a family photo in.

Be creative, it will show that you put thought into it.

Tell her being her sister is gift enough.

You are only 14. You don't need to buy her a present. Your mom and dad will take care of it.

Have fun at the party. Eat a piece of cake with lots of icing on it for me!

I got a journal when I turned 14 and it was one of the best gifts I've gotten. It has helped me reflect on many obstacles in life and it almost feels like your talking to a friend. Just remind her that it is a journal, not a diary. You never want to write about something you dont want coming back to haunt you in the future (It WILL happen)!

If you are old enough, you can write her a really nice card with a promise to do her favorite activity (get a makeover, go to the mall, see her favorite movie etc), your treat and she gets to pick when.

If you aren't old enough to take her somewhere (like you're the little sister) promise to do her chores, let her pick the TV shows or something like that for some amount of time.

Chore coupons.

Redeem this coupon for one week of clearing the table. For vacuuming her bedroom. For taking out the garbage when it is her turn etc.

She'll be thrilled.

Or if you're not living at home, promise to take her out for a private sibling dinner and a movie date.

Go get a bath set that's in one of those baskets, buy her a c.d. of music that she likes,a bottle of perfume, and a small card.Ope the set, stuff the c.d. and bottle of perfume on the sides, write an inscription in the card(something sentimental"i love u sis, happy b-day").You're good to go!:)

You need to go out and get her something. She will probably be hurt if you don't have something for her. And at that age, it probably won't take much to make her happy. If she is like mine, earrings or any type of jewelry or find her a purse - they are all into those! But don't go empty handed.

Get her a charm bracelet, not one of those stupid italian ones, get one of the cute dangly ones. Get her the starter bracelet with a charm that will remind her of a special moment you guys shared, or something to do with a birthday. I have one and I love it, and I get more and more charms, and it is my most prized posession.
