Well folks, he is not going anywhere. I have pleaded with my mom to get rid of him. I am 24 and live on my own so I no longer have to deal with him, but I have an 8yr old sister and 11yr old brother who do. He is not quite as bad as he used to be (not as crazy/homicidal/manic depressive/bipolar/wife beater), but I always find myself bad mouthing him, even when my siblings are around. Granted, he is still is an @$$, and is very lazy/manipulative/emotionally abusive towards my mom, sister, and brother. What do I do? I can't avoid him, and I have a hard time not saying anything when he is acting up when I am around.

I have a sister who is extremely jeolous of me because I am alot more successful then she is. I always did the right thing when it came too getting an education and having boyfriends. She dropped out of school in the 9th grade and got pregnant at an early age (14) and was just screwed up from that point on.

Whenever I come around she is sarcastic and has something negative to say about me. I am married now for 10yrs. and she is not and she seems to have a problem with that too. I want to love her but I am at a point where I can't take it anymore and I totally been ignoring her. If we have family get togethers I do not go to avoid her. Could someone please tell me, what should I do?

My daughter turned two in June. Almost right after that she potty trained. It was so easy, she caught on in no time and was doing great. Now all of a sudden in the last 3 weeks or so she has started peeing in her pants. She will stand there and hold her legs together. I know she has to pee. But when I take her to go potty she says she doesn't have to go and she won't even let me set her on the toilet. She goes all stiff. But then she'll pee in her pants. I don't know what to do to make her stop. It's like she doesn't care, I've even let her stay in her wet pants, but she still doesn't care. Plus she gets rashy. Should I put her back in diapers? What do I do? Mothers out there, I need your advice, help!!!

I am receiving 10-12 forwarded email msgs from a relative that I'm not particularly close to. They are always the same thing...chain letters with a religious message. I don't want to offend or put a strain on our relationship by bringing it up but it is driving me crazy! I hate to just delete without reading, sometimes the title is misleading.
What if she really had an emergency? Advice, please!

I think she has a split personality because she acts one way at school and one way at home. Most days I don't want to talk to her because she tries to demand things from me and takes things from me. If I try to confront her and say what I have to say to her, i'm the one that ends up getting into trouble with my parents... She hangs around these idiots in my marching band (she's in the 9th grade) but I don't want to sound like a loser or a motherly figure trying to get her away from those people. She takes my money and never pays it back. (I know what your thinking, we're family and we have to help each other out) but my job at the pool barely pays anything and my hours are shortened because i'm in school. I don't know how I should even go about handling my situation or what I should do to even talk to her. Can you help me out?

Are my dad and my school too strict? I go to school in Texas.

My dad was very upset because he had to miss a few hours of work to visit my school to talk to the principal get my in-school suspension reduced from 3 days to 1 day, and to get the 1 day served taken off of my record. However, I had to agree to 10 days of detention, licks (embarrassing!) from the female vice principal (yes they allow it here, I know how lame) who hates me, writing an essay about why what I did was wrong and I am suspended from cheerleading for until my detention is served.

I am also grounded for 3 weeks (2 originally but I got an extra for talking back) and lost my allowance for a month, with extra chores while I am grounded. All I get to keep is computer and phone, so I guess it could be worse. The worst was he screamed at me. All he cares about is missing work. He does not care about me as much as his job and honestly I would have rather just served the whole in school suspension.

My husband and I want him to adopt my son. His real father is fine with it so there is no conflict. I have called 10 different lawyers, gotten ahold of 5 of them, and the least expensive one for a straight adoption was $800. Are there any places that I could find legal service that goes based on income, or for less than $800? (I was thinking it would be about $400, so the price blew me away.) I live near Chattanooga, TN. Thanks in advance.

My daughter had been playing with herolder brother and fell off her bed and hit her arm on a hard plastic toy. It left a really nasty bruise. The next day I went to the grocery store and a girl that works at a store across the street and asked me in a nasty voice how I could do that to her! I was so shocked b/c my daughter is far from abused (but she is like me and clumsy!) How would you have handled this? I did say thatI didn't do it and my son said she fell but I can't believe I even had to say that much! (By the way there wasn't even so much as a scraped knee or hair out of place otherwise on my little girl)

At about age 25 I went to my parents house, guess they didn't hear me come in, I walked in living room, their bedroom door was open and, well, in my opinion what I saw leaned way more towards 'having sex' than 'making love.'

I still feel a bit uncomfortable when the picture comes to mind.

Why is that? Can you relate?

And if you have kids, and they saw you going at it, how did that feel? What did you do?

I have never seen some1 asking that " i dont have a sister(just like me) could u be " or " i dont hv any bro. could u be".

They just keep on askiing for gfs or bfs. but y not bro n sis., who r elder or smaller than u in age, who would always guide u in times of difficulties...

I know this question sounds a little strange but i require the answer.
