I have an aunt that is dating a guy that is 24 and when we were at my grandparents house he was hinting to me about sexual activity (trust me) and I feel really uncomforitable around him! I really can't avoid him, so what should I do when we are at family gatherings? And I really don't like him!!

We are in the process of adopting a baby. I am worried that she will always be wondering about her biological family. Is the a legitimate concern or am I worrying about nothing? We will be adopting through the state, so it will not be an open adoption due to the environment she will be taken out of. Also is there any advise you can give me about things you wish your adoptive parents would have known? Thanks.

I was thinking if every family had a family member that they only saw once or twice a year, for weddings and funereals, or the occasional holiday. Like, they would live in another city and be caught up in their own life, so they would rarely visit, call, or write home. I think I might become one of those types of family members in the future because of where i stand now. But it doesnt worry me. Does every family have at least one member that is like this? Is it common?

She took out a payday loan in my name, steals my mail and my money, and mooches off of me.She is not only stealing from me but from my 1 year old son when she does these things. When you catch her,she always has some story that makes her the victim. She loses jobs and places to live constantly, but thinks she is better than everybody. We all live together with my parents.I am saving for a down payment on a house so I cant move yet.She also threatens to call social services and make up lies about the way I treat my son if I call her on anything she has been doing (stealing, etc.)I dont know what to do anymore. I feel like I am the older one. I told her if she continues to do these things that I would not only cut her from my life, but from my sons life. But then she told me how immature that was and that I was a piece of sh*t.I am really at my wits end here.I want to love her but I dont even like her at this point.Any advice would be really great. And please, no sarcastic or vulgar responses

It is in mine. It's just me and my 2 daughters, 11 & 14...I'm divorced. My oldest daughter is in high school & my youngest is in middle school. We each have very busy lives and the days just seem to whiz by. So at least 4 or 5 times a week, we sit at the dining room table and eat together. We talk about how our day went, the happenings at school and work, upcoming events, share funny stories or express concerns about things of importance to us. Sometimes it's all jibberish and a bunch of high school and middle school drama but sometimes things come up that we wouldn't have normally been discussing. During this time, the TV must be off and only emergency phone calls are accepted. My girls get irritated with this sometimes and complain but I tell them to zip it and get ready for dinner. Is this notion outdated & a hindrance or is it a good tradition to put in place? What do you think about this?

my fiance is very destraut, as am I, about all of this, and her boss yelled at her in front of around 50 (fifty) people, which in her state, made her cry. He then snapped get in the back, while in the break room (back room), came back and started talking to her. She didnt want to discuss personal business in front of people, so they went back to office. They then went back and forth about the discussion at the register in front of customers. He then sent her home saying, if i don't hear from you in 2 (two) weeks, youre off the schedule, meaning no longer employed.

My son and I are always arguing when it comes to school work. I really need some advise on ways I can help him. Spelling is the worse subject. I need to help him with his spelling. He is a very poor speller. Everytime I try to help him he just gets frustrated and tells me that i must think he's stupid and he can't do it... And I never say or do anything like that to make him feel that way... I have had him tested for ADHD and dyslexia and he has neither one. Please....

Some people are so arrogant that their head is stuck so far up their *** it would come back around again! No matter what you do for some people the good things always go unnoticed while ONE minor negative thing gets magnified x 100000 to make you feel so small!

I just broke down crying, yes emo I know but I am so fed up of benig treated like a piece of dirt. Do this, do that, write this, post that. NOT ONE THANK YOU, only a half assed 'thanks' now and again.

If I was gone tomorrow they wouldn't notice. Oh, yes they would, when they want someone to clean up their mess or someone to make feel like crap.

this in not a question, i know, just drop your commen...
