Pets have their own link in a family unit. Pets have to be fed and watered and cared for, which teaches responsibility. Pets can make you laugh when they play and sad if they get sick. Pets need to be trained and sometimes disciplined, children see and hear this,and expect to be treated similarly. When the family pet dies, it is a very sad time, children learn what losing someone dear means.

it makes responsibility and can be really fun and enjoyable you just have to take care off them well and understand that you can get in big trouble with animal abuse
